[The thing... kept driving]

"That's not Argus, is it?" Clarisse asked.

"How do you figure?" Paul asked.

"Argus would never take people on a quest farther than the city," she said.

"I mean, technically they're still in the city, but you're right. Zoe was driving," I told her.

["Where's Argus... couldn't move]

"Dionysus...." Dad started.

"Someone had to do something. He couldn't get away with sneaking out again scot-free just because of his parentage," Dionysus said with a roll of his eyes

["Going somewhere?"... way down."]

"You wouldn't dare," Dad said.

"And face your temper? Please, I am more sensible than that," Dionysus said, annoyed.

[I balled... rewarded her?"]

Dad sighed. "Dio... you know not all my sons are like that."

"Oh really? Name one half decent demigod son of yours before Perry," Dionysus challenged.

He stayed silent and Dionysus spoke again, "That's what I thought."

[The answer... silly friends."]

"You're letting him go?" Leo asked, dumbfounded.

"No need to sound so surprised Luigi," Dionysus said.

"But if you were so set on catching Percy, why?" Dad asked.

Mr. D shrugged. "Figured it was no use stopping him."

[The vines... my breath]

"He is one dedicated horse," Hazel said.

"That he is," I said with a smile

["Stay here,"... the store]

"So..." Travis started, turning to look at Annabeth.

"So... what?" she asked confused.

"Would the hot chocolate have disappeared?" he asked.

Annabeth sighed, shook her head in resignation and said, "Yes, Travis. It would have disappeared."

["Grover, are...  I'd forgotten."]

"You did?" Will asked.

"Uh... yeah. Very briefly though," Nico told him.

"That's cool."

"Yeah, I guess."

["I dislike... you do."]

"You wanted to drive after that disastrous trip in the Sun Chariot?" Jason asked.

"Not particularly, but at least I actually looked close to 16. Zoe looked 14 at best," Thalia said.

["Perhaps,"... breathing heavily]

"Is he alright?" Hazel asked.

"He was just tired. I still feel bad about how long I had him fly without a break," I told her.

"He's just a pegasus," Hera scoffed.

"Blackjack may be a pegasus, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be treated with respect," I half growled, turning to glare at her. "He's a loyal friend and I'm going to treat him as such."

 ["You okay?"... be fine."]

"And how were you planning on continuing west?" Annabeth asked, raising an eyebrow.
