☾I can't just leave you☽
                          
Levi and I have been together since we were fifteen. Romantic, right? Yes, to me atleast. We're not the type of couple who express our love for each other in public. Sure, we've already made love to each other a couple of times but never really considered having children. But, he told me that it's okay to have a child, as long as it's his child and as long as that child was from mine too. 
                          
It's our third wedding anniversary today and I'm waiting for his 'surprise' for me. I have one for him, which was that set of cravat and cuff links which was quite expensive but I bought it for him anyways, and a surprise news for him. I hope he'll be happy with the gifts, especially the news.
                          
 At the mean time, my job is [j/n] and I'm enjoying it. Levi's job is being a captain, which gives a high salary, but he wants more. But for the mean time, he's focused on his work.
                          
"I'm home [name]." That familiar voice, Levi! Finally, he's home!
                          
"Hey! You're finally home!" I approached him and help him remove his cravat.
                          
"It was a tiring day at work today, but," he was acting really different today, but it was a really good mood. "I received an offer from the Commander."
                          
"What kind of offer?" I smiled and took his coat from him and placed it on the coat rack.
                          
"Job offer, and it pays me triple times than what they pay me now!" Levi smiled. It's very rare to see him smile. Out of all those years we've been together, the only time I won't forget seeing him smile is when we first kissed and also the first time we made love to each other. His smile is contagious, that's why I'm smiling with him now.
                          
"That's great, Levi! I'm so proud of you!" I hugged him tightly and despite his tired body and slightly sweaty body, he still smelled the same.
                          
"But.." I let go and stared at him. He looks stiff and.. sad?
                          
"But w-what?" I asked nervously. What could be this possible problem?
                          
"I'm required to go to another country. Specifically in the United Kingdom." 
                          
My heart sank when he ended his sentence. It was great, higher salary. but he had to go elsewhere and leave me here. It would be so lonely without him. I don't want him to go but it'll be selfish of me to stop him.
                          
"What do you want to do?" I asked him, trying not to sound so sad. He shrugged and sighed, sitting on the couch. I followed him and sat beside him.
                          
"I would like to take that offer and work in the UK. If I take that job, We'll have a brighter future, and for our children. We'll soon be a family, of course." My heart skipped a beat when he said it's for us and our future children.
                          
"You're right.. I'll support your decision, Levi, but I can't promise you that I wouldn't get depressed." I admitted. I want to be clear that he should look forward to coming home to me when he had the chance.
                          
"Yes, of course, [name]. I would feel the exact same way, but as I said, it is for our family's future." There was a short moment of silence. Within that moment, I was waiting for him to greet me because it's our anniversary today.
                          
"I'm going to take a quick shower." He kissed my forehead and I nodded. I felt disappointed, what if he actually forgot that it's our anniv today? Or maybe I'm just overacting. Maybe he actually knows, but got too excited about the offer.
                          
After a couple of minutes, he finally stood out of the shower, with the towel on his back. We're married and it's normal for us to see each other without any clothes in this house.
                          
I cleared my throat which got his attention, which what I really wanted to happen.
                          
"Happy Anniversary, Honey!" I gave him the box which contains the cravat and the cuff links. I decided to great him first since we might not be able to celebrate it if I waited.
