Abhi's Pov

'' Koi go shobai ? Dekho ke eshechea. Amar Abhi.''

Where are everyone?  Look who came. My Abhi.

I heard my ma's voice from outside the house. I couldn't help but smiled at her reaction. As I stepped inside, she hugged me and started to cry.

'' God knows from how many days I didn't hug you?  Look at yourself for what you did. You didn't take care  of your health even. ''

She started complaining. Nothing is new for me as the son of a Bengali mom.

''Nothing Ma, I just had a little stress from studying; maybe for that, I'm looking dull to you.''

I said it in a soft tone because I didn't want to get scolded by her.  I went to London to complete my studies about 7 years ago. But for my mom I had been living there for an eternity.

'' Seems that some foreign man has come, not my son.''

She said while admiring my outfit. Well in London all loves to wear formals. Even I do. Formal outfit always give me positive vibes. I often wear them.

I said nothing but chuckled at her statement.

'' Okay, now go to your room and get some rest. You must be tired.'' she said, creasing my hair. '' Ma don't touch my hair now; I'm not a kid anymore.'' I complained.

''For me, you are always a kid . My little kidoo.'' My mother said it with a chuckle .

'' Where is baba?'' I inquired by feeling his absence. '' He went town to do some paper works maybe he'll stay there tonight.'' She replied. My giving my mom a another quick hug I went upstairs. I was standing outside of my room after 7 years.

All of a sudden those memories hit me back

I was so excited to go abroad. After getting the papers of my admission, I can bet that There was no one in this whole earth, happy more than me. I daydreamed about going there. Studying There. Yet, just before leaving for the journey somewhere in my heart, it ached. Badly ached. For leaving my home. While locking the door of my bedroom, I felt like I was locking my entire childhood inside it.

I took a deep breath and opened the door.

Nostalgia Rushed Inside Me.

Finally, After 7 years, I settled in my room.

Everything was still the same. But I have grown up.

My bookshelf. My table. My bed. And my favorite part

My Balcony .

I went towards the balcony and took a deep breath. The fresh air. Oh God! I missed it so much! Nothing can beat us when it's about nature. Suddenly, my gaze fell on the balcony right in front of mine.

Her Balcony.

She was not there. Does she know I came? What I'm I thinking? She will come to see me? After all, we are still 'Childhood Enemy.' I still can't forget how she used to annoy me whenever I tried to study. She never let me go without getting on my nerves. Also I didn't skip any chance to complain about her to her mom. I loved the  scene when she got scolded by her mom for her mischief .

'' Kire Abhi kobe elei?'

Abhi! When did you come?

I heard the voice of Aakhi's mom.

'' Eito Kakima kichu khoon agee. Tumi kemon acho?''

Before some time, Kakima[ aunt] .How are you?

'' Good. Go and get some rest . We will talk later. Okay?'' I nodded at her words and went back to my room.

Finally After so many days, lying peacefully on my bed feels joyous to me after fulfilling my dream. Yes, I'm a lawyer. I fulfilled my childhood dream. The aim of my life. Now I can sleep peacefully.

Wait

How can I sleep peacefully without annoying her? Now it's my time.
