  There are moments that Artemis has felt fear in her time at Hogwarts, there are times she's felt violent, but this is one of the rare moments that true fear and burning rage seem to join. 
  Not only have Iris and Theodore not returned from their escort duty, but Hera is nowhere to be found in the castle, and now it is up to Artemis to help them. 
  Artemis sprints down the grounds towards the barrier that guards the castle. 
  "Bells, wait!" Mattheo sprints after Artemis, but she doesn't slow down for even a moment. 
  Tom runs after the both of them, he's not used to having to move at such speeds. If Mattheo gets himself killed, then there is a good chance that Tom will end up dying as well, so he doesn't have much choice but to follow.
  "Artemis! Stop!" Mattheo continues to shout after Artemis as he chases her past Hagrid's hut. "There's no way out of the castle!" Mattheo shouts after her. She's going to run directly into the path of Dementors if she doesn't stop.
  "Artemis! He is right!" Tom screams after the girl. And so she comes to a stop when it is Tom that says it, he is the rational thinker. 
  Mattheo and Tom both stop in front of Artemis. 
  "Rushing off is going to get us all killed! We need to contact one of the Aurors!" Mattheo shouts at Artemis. 
  "I know" Artemis tells Mattheo. "Mabel will know if I venture anywhere close to the defences that protect the grounds, and then she can help" Artemis tells the two boys. 
  "You should have just told a teacher" Tom tells the girl. "It is rather foolish of you to rush off into the unknown" Tom sneers at the girl. He thought she would be smarter than this. 
  "The teachers will take too long in contacting the Ministry, Mabel will go after Hera and the others now!" Artemis has complete faith in Mabel. 
  "You two don't know what these people are capable of doing. They'll steal the magic from all of those kids, Hera, Iris and Theodore. And if they figure out that Hera might—" but Artemis stops herself. 
  Hera could possess the same power as Artemis, but I could be dormant at the moment. If Amelia had the power and Artemis got it from her, then Hera and Atlas could both have this power.
  Artemis turns and continues to storm off towards the barrier. "I don't have time for this!" Artemis shouts back at the two boys. 
  Mattheo is the brave one that grabs her by the arm to stop her. "And what if the Dementors attack you before Mabel finds you?" Mattheo asks of Artemis. None of them are capable of fighting off Dementors. 
  "They're welcome to fucking try" her reason has gone out of the window, Hera is in trouble, Iris is in trouble, and Theodore is in trouble. 
  For the first time, Tom is seeing Artemis' warrior side. The take no prisoners violent side that Mattheo has always loved to see. 
  Artemis snatches her arm away. "Go back to the castle, Mattheo! I don't need you!" Artemis tells the boy. 
  "I'm not about to let you fucking march into danger on your own" Mattheo shouts back to Artemis. "Question that I would help my friends again, I fucking dare you!" Mattheo snarls at Artemis.
