You successfully managed to shift yourself away from the Lich however you did not recognize your surroundings.
Had you transported yourself to the Land of Ooo? You were not sure.
All you could tell was that it was night time and that you were in a forest. Your body was exhausted and you could not get yourself to move a muscle so you just laid there, almost unconscious, staring at the night sky. You lifted your arm as if trying to touch the stars. They were shining so brightly and you swore that you could hear them calling you home.
You began feeling dizzy and the idea of falling asleep sounded better than ever. You shut your eyes and a single tear fell down your cheek. The thought that you might die suddenly crossed your mind but you were too tired for it to have a real effect on you. You dropped your hand and it fell to your side. The night breeze rippled through your clothes and it made your bruised body shudder, sending a wave of pain. You winced and started to lose consciousness but before everything went black you saw a shadow fly above you.

Music played from somewhere in your dreams. The rhythm was nice and it comforted you as you slept. A voice could also be made out- a voice of a girl. She was singing so beautifully. The song was sad but it moved you, even while sleeping. An overwhelming feeling of sadness washed over you. You could feel yourself crying and perhaps this is what woke you. You opened your eyes, tear droplets embedded in your eyelashes. You brought your hand up and wiped your eyes. I am alive.
You sat up and immediately felt pain overcome your body. The room you were in was dark and you could hardly make out what was in it. You were in a bed, you knew that much. You took the sheets off of you and noticed that your legs had been wrapped in bandages. You swung them off the bed and walked over to the door. Your whole body ached but it was manageable. Light was coming from the crack underneath the door and you could hear that the music was coming from close by.
You creaked the door open staring into the hallway. You did not feel as though you were in danger as the person whose house you were in had probably been the one that mended all of your wounds. You can't imagine a murderer would have done this if they planned to kill you.
You tip-toed down the hall. The singing continued and you followed the sound. You made it into a living room, a girl with a red guitar sat on a wooden chair facing the other way, headphones on her ears. She had sleek black hair and her skin was pale, almost blue in tint. You could not see her face but you could tell she was deeply invested in her music and she was not aware that you were in the room with her.
You didn't feel like stopping her so you just sat down on the couch on the far end. It was behind her so she still could not see you. You watched as she played on, singing...

Go down to the ocean, the crystal tide is raising
Waters' gotten higher as the shore washes out
Keep your eyes wide open, even when the Sun is blazin' The Moon controls the tide, it could cause you to drown Everything stays right where you left it
Everything stays, but it still changes
Ever so slightly, daily and nightly
In little ways, when everything stays.

She finished her song and sighed. For a while she just rested her head on her guitar. You sat there observing her. She seemed sad. She set aside her guitar and took off her headphones. When she turned around she was evidently quite shocked to find you sitting on her couch. You just sat there awkwardly not sure what to say.
"Woah- your awake..." the girl said. When she talked you noticed her teeth--They were sharp as razors.
"Hello" you responded in a raspy voice. Your throat felt like you had just swallowed a bunch of nails. You put your hand on your throat out of response to the pain.
"Does it hurt?" she asks in concern.
You nod and look up at her.
"Um- I kind of found you in the woods... you looked like crap. I for real thought you were gonna die for a second...what the heck happened?" the girl said as she walked over to the couch and sat down without hesitance.
You look down, remembering all that had happened. You didn't know how to explain it to her, you thought she might think you are crazy.
"Am.." you pause and try to clear your throat... "Am I in the Land of Ooo?" you ask her.
"Uh yeah.. Your in my cabin.." she said with an eyebrow raised. "If you don't mind me asking... who are you?"

A wave of relief rushed through you. You had no idea how you had actually managed to shift back to the Land of Ooo.
"My name is Y/N" you respond to her. "Do you by any chance know a Finn?" you ask, urgency apparent in your voice.
"Oh yea Finn- I know him" she says "Do you need me to call him or something?" she asks looking at you.
"Yes... I also need to let Princess Bubblegum know that I am alive... how long have I been here exactly?" you ask.
"Um well after I found you in the woods, I brought you to my place and you have been kind of sleeping for two days." She informs you then looks at you with squinted eyes. "You know Bonnie?" she asks with a curious tone.
"Yea, it's a lot to explain, I have to talk to Finn first." you say.
"Hmm-- okay." She says getting up from the couch. "I am Marceline by the way" she adds as she grabs the phone.

Finn's POV

It's been about two days since Y/N went missing. I returned to the Tree House with Jake a couple of hours ago. I was staying at the Candy Kingdom but I could tell I wasn't helping by being there... PB said she'd call if she found anything out. I feel so bad about all of this. I know PB didn't mean for this to happen. I just wish I listened to my gut feeling. I shouldn't have let Y/N stay there. We could have figured it out without having to run tests on her like some kind of experiment.
I hear the phone ring and run to it immediately. I pick it up and surprised to hear that it is Marceline on the other line.
"Oh- hey Marceline" I say. I didn't mean to sound disappointed but I was really hoping it was PB with an update on Y/N.
"Wow- don't sound so excited" she said in a sarcastic tone. "Listen I've got a girl here uhm... she says her name is Y/N... I found her in the woods and-" Marceline explains but I cut her off.
"Y/N!? You found her?! Oh my glob! Is she okay!??" I scream into the phone. I hear Jake's running footsteps on the floor above me. He quickly went down the ladder, but from his hurry he slipped and fell down at least one story. He hit the ground face first. "Ow" he said but got up quickly and joined me at the phone. "Y/N?!" Jake screamed out.
"Uh yea... she was real beat up and was asleep for like two whole days. But she is awake now and she is asking to speak with you. Here." she said as she passed the phone.
"Hello? Finn is that you?" Y/N says on the other line, her voice sounds different, like its going out.
"Y/N are you okay?! What happened?" I ask her.
"It's a lot to explain over the phone" she begins, audibly struggling to get words out. "I shifted- is there anyway you can come by?" she asks.
"Yea yea.. anything you need... we will be there soon. Y/N I am so happy that you are okay. You have no idea how scared we all were" I explain to her.
"Yea Y/N, we thought you had died!!" Jake said screaming into the phone next to me.
"JAKE!" I responded.
"Oh- yea but I'm glad your not..." Jake said shaking his head and lifting his arms.
"I know- I'm sorry, I'll tell you everything when you get here" she says softly.
"No-no don't apologize. We will be there soon" I reassure her. I hang up the phone. Jake already knows the drill and we are out the door a couple of seconds later.
