Groaning could be heard from (y/n)'s room, she tossed and turned in her bed while trying to get some sleep for once. Her body was wrapped in a burrito roll as her face slammed into the pillow.
After her odd events at school, the nurse did nothing like always and just gave her some Advil and called her mother.
Now, the poor girl laid in her bed. Rolling around her mattress while trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in. But after what seemed like hours, she couldn't fall asleep.
Suddenly, a knock on her door caught her attention. Peaking her head out from the covers, she sat up and looked at the door.
Who could it be? Her mother was out running errands and going to get medicine for her so it couldn't be her.
"Uh, (y/n)? You okay? Can I come in," it was Sal.
"Y-Yeah... Come on in," (y/n) replied, her voice groggy and tired.
With her permission, the boy walked in. A silver thermos in his hands as he sat on the bed next to the girl.
"Your mom told Lisa what happened to you. So, she sent me up to give you this," he said, giving the thermos to her.
(y/n) felt touched by the gesture, a small blush on her cheeks as she twisted the cap open and poured the soup into the cap. Taking a sip of the soup. Her aching stomach started to feel better as she continued to sip the soup.
"So- uh, we found out what the bologna was made out of," He said, turning to her.
(y/n) closed the cap on the thermos as she looked at him.
"It was made from human flesh,"
The moment he said that, (y/n) gagged and looked back at him. "You're kidding."
"I'm not. It was in a freezer and the bones were removed and-"
"Sal, please, I'm already sick," he laughed at her comment.
"Alright, alright,"
The two sat in silence, (y/n) laying on her bed as her covers wrapped around her.
"But it was really-"
Sal was cut off by her pillow being thrown at his face, making him laugh even more and making (y/n) sit up.
"Talk about the bologna one more time, I dare you," she said, her other pillow in her hand.
Sal smiled, looking down and seemingly backed off before he spoke a single word and the pillow flew right at his face.
The two playfully fought a bit, (y/n) eventually getting the upper hand in the fight and pinning him to the bed.
Their eyes met as a blush dusted their cheeks. Sal exhaled as he looked at her, a silence overcoming the two.
