Aya tried to use her illusions but Cadell simply emitted a wave of soulfire and destroyed them all while also hitting Alduin, Merial and Virion, the soulfire immediately entered their bodies and started to eat them from the inside out, Alduin and Merial died in a manner of seconds while Virion kept convulsing on the floor as his mana tried and failed to get rid of Cadell's decay mana
"Let's see how long you'll last" Cadell stated as he grabbed Aya by her throat lifting her, he grabbed her arm with his other hand and injected soulfire in her, I tried to form a spell, to take out my daggers, to throw a punch, to do something, anything, but it was all useless, my body just passed through him and I couldn't conjure any spell 
With a bloodcurdling scream Aya's right arm was teared off and incinerated by the black flames, Cadell pit his free hand on her face and sent his cursed flames inside her, she died after a few seconds
"Hmm? Oh so the Leywin family is still here, good"
Cadell disappeared and I followed him, we rushed across the Castle until we reached my parents' room, there I saw Cadell standing on the doorway essentially trapping my family inside
"RROOOAAAAHHH"
Dad shot himself towards Cadell while in his 2nd stage completely covered in bright sapphire flames, he threw a flurry of punches at him but they all crashed against Cadell's mana barrier leaving him unharmed, Cadell grabbed dad by the neck and simply snapped it killing it on the spot before throwing his body to the side
"REY!!!" mom rushed to his side
"DAD!!!" Ellie followed her and as she realised he was dead she drew her bow, with a bloodcurdling scream and tears streaming down her face she released several mana arrows
Cadell simply swatted down Ellie's arrows like they were flies as he slowly walked towards them, keeping his steps slow and steady on purpose
"RRRAAAAHHHH"
Boo charged at him and slammed his front paws on his face, before Boo's attack connected Cadell threw a punch at him sending him flying against the wall of the room
"BOO!!" my sister yelled as she kept firing arrow after arrow
"Enough" Cadell said as he lifted her by her throat
Ellie tried to fight back as mom tried to punch Cadell repeatedly, Ellie formed a small dagger using all the mana she had left and tried to plunge it in Cadell's right eye, his mana barrier sizzled as Ellie's dagger tried to make its way through it
Suddenly the dagger disappeared as Ellie vomited a mouthful of blood, looking down I saw Cadell's sword piercing her heart, Cadell twisted his blade before extracting it and letting Ellie fall onto the floor
Mom kneeled besides her as she tried to heal her screaming something, I couldn't make out her words as they were drowned out by my own screams as the guilt gnawed me as I could only watch powerless, Cadell sent a burst of soulfire that incinerated Ellie and mom before disappearing and the whole scene collapsed
"See your family is already gone" the voice stated
"Oh and let's not forget about your precious, pretty, little elf! You know Dragoth personally hunted her down" the voice continued with a laugh
The darkness around me dissipated once again and I saw The Wall, it was under assault by an immense army of alacryans, in the middle of the chaos Mai was there, fighting with all her might, yelling at everyone to hold on, that I would soon arrive
Suddenly Dragoth came down from the sky like a meteor landing in front of her with a cruel smile on his face, Mai charged at him swinging her daggers, Dragoth just caught her arm and snapped it bending it the wrong way, letting go of her broken arm he grabbed her face with one hand and her thigh with the other and started pulling, with a sickening, wet, ripping sound her leg was torn off, Mai's voice cracked with her screams
