"turly... wa... WAKE UP DAMNIT!"
Turly nearly bonked heads with her as he jumped awake making a surge of pain enter his body that made him nearly faint again.
"Thank Arceus," Chiree sighed in relief.
"-ow wong wax I out?" Turly asked before throwing up some of his own blood that pooled in his mouth.
Chiree winced, "I wouldn't try to talk... I think you kinda..."
"Kwinda wat? Eed why doo I xound fueey?" Turly replied.
"You kinda ran into a tree and bit on your tongue too hard and uh... it uh,"
Turly sank, "I bif my own congue oph,"
"A little bit yeah. Not to mention what damage the wild did to you after you hit that tree... it's a little crazy how your reviver seed didn't go off,"
"Catx 'cauxe I don't goc one,"
"YOU WHAT!!! Your saying that we are going on an adventure... with someone who could very well kill us if we aren't careful and you don't think to bring ONE REVIVER SEED!!!"
"Dam whoph oovereaxin eow,"
"You're lucky your in pain right now otherwise I'd hit your so hard your head would topple over,"
Turly winced in pain as he tried to laugh but soon stopped since the pain soon was overwhelming.
Chiree noticing this focused her heal pulse on him again. "This should heal your wounds but I think your tongue will take a bit of time to regrow sadly..."
"-ou fid Axel eet?"
"No, I've searched everywhere for him here in the forest. I'm frickin sleep deprived from looking. I'm starting to think he really disappeared out of thin air,"
"Woc abowt de mouwken?"
"The what?"
"Mouwken," Turly repeated.
"Still don't understand you,"
Turly rolled his eyes and nodded toward the mountain.
"Oh the mountain... Hmm quite a possibility... I mean that is where his old village was..."
Turly recalled his vision of the little axew pointing toward the very same mountain in his dream. Was that really Axel? Was that why Chiree had done all this for him. He knew better then to ask right then and there though. He doubted whether or not Chiree would understand him anyways now that his speech was more ridiculous than usual. Turly slowly tried to stand again managing to make it on 3 feet before collapsing again yelping in pain as his chin hit the ground again. He clearly wasn't getting up anytime soon.
"Whi ood Axel doo dix..."
Chiree stared at the mountain, "I don't know... it's kinda hard to know what he's thinking sometimes. Maybe it was instinct... but then again why didn't he tell us. I just doesn't make sense..."
"...I phiek I goc ic fumb 'ere," Turly said waving off Chiree's heal pulse.
"Hmm?"
Turly rooted himself into the ground and let the sunlight reach his body as he felt new energy flow through him.
"Oh... I forgot Turtwig's knew synthesis... sorry,"
"Ics-"
"Please don't try to talk unless it's necessary. It's a miracle already that you still... somewhat... form words when half your tongue is gone,"
