Jimin left Hoseok's office, his mind swirling with thoughts and emotions... He had never imagined that planning a wedding could be so complicated, especially when it involved choosing a destination with a man who had once held his heart... As he walked through the bustling streets of the city, Jimin couldn't help but replay the past in his mind... He and Hoseok had been inseparable in college, best friends who had shared everything, including their dreams and secrets... They had even dared to explore a romantic connection, but it had been short-lived, and their friendship had ultimately prevailed...

Now, faced with the decision of where to have his wedding with Namjoon, Jimin was bombarded with conflicting feelings... He loved Namjoon deeply, but a part of him couldn't help but wonder about the path not taken with Hoseok... Meanwhile, the latter male sat alone in his office, staring at the brochures and photographs that still lay scattered across the table... He couldn't shake the feeling of awkwardness that had hung in the air during Jimin's visit... Seeing Jimin again this close had stirred up old memories and emotions that he had long buried...

He couldn't deny the fact that he still cared for Jimin deeply... The years had not diminished the connection they shared, and the older male found himself grappling with his own emotions... He had accepted the reality that Jimin had moved on and was set to marry Namjoon while he himself moved on years ago with Seokjin, but it was challenging to suppress the longing he felt... Hours passed, and the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting long shadows across the city... Jimin returned home, greeted by Namjoon's warm, dimpled smile... Namjoon had been busy with work, and Jimin had yet to share the details of his meeting with Hoseok...

"Hey, babe," Namjoon said, wrapping his arms around the younger male... "How was your day? Anything exciting happen?" Jimin hesitated for a moment, his mind racing... He knew he needed to tell the older male about his meeting with Hoseok, but he also feared how the director might react... He finally mustered the courage to speak... "Joonie, I need to talk to you about something," Jimin began, his voice soft... "I met with Hoseok today to discuss our wedding destination..."

The older male's smile remained, but he could sense the seriousness in Jimin's tone... "Okay, go on... What did he suggest?" The younger male recounted the options that Hoseok had presented... the Caribbean seaside resort, the French chateau, the Italian villa, the city rooftop, the countryside barn, and the mountain lodge... the older male listened attentively, occasionally nodding in agreement... As the younger male finished explaining, Namjoon looked at him with a reassuring smile... "Chimmy, these all sound amazing, but what matters most is where you and I want to celebrate our love... It doesn't have to be a grand destination; it just needs to be special for us..."

Jimin felt a wave of relief wash over him... Namjoon's understanding and support were unwavering, and the younger male was grateful for that...

"Thank you, Joonie..." Jimin said, his eyes brimming with affection... "I love you..." The older male leaned in and kissed Jimin gently... "I love you too, Chimmy... We will make this decision together, and it will be perfect because it's us..." As they embraced, Jimin couldn't help but wonder about the road not taken... What if he had chosen to be with Hoseok all those years ago? But he quickly brushed those thoughts aside, reminding himself that he had made a choice... a choice to build a future with Namjoon...

The night was filled with the soft hum of cicadas, their soothing chorus blending with the tension that hung in the air... Jungkook's confession had brought forth a flood of emotions neither of them had anticipated... Yoongi's heart wrestled with conflicting desires, the past and the present colliding in a tumultuous dance... The younger male's eyes shimmered with unshed tears as he stood before Yoongi, baring his soul... His voice quivered as he spoke, "Yoongi hyung, I understand that what I am saying is complicated,,. I never meant to leave you without an explanation all those years ago, and I am sorry for the pain I caused..."

The said male's fingers continued to linger on Jungkook's cheek, his touch gentle yet conflicted... Memories of their time together, their laughter, their dreams, all rushed back like a tidal wave... "Jungkook.." he whispered "you shattered my heart when you left... I didn't understand why, and I spent years trying to move on..." Tears trickled down the younger male's cheeks as he continued... "I know... I can never make up for the hurt I caused... But these past years have been a battle, a battle against my own feelings... I know that you are all set to build a life with Taehyung... He is a wonderful person, and I could see why you fell in love with him... But I couldn't help the ache in my heart..."

The night turned colder, Yoongi stepped closer to the younger, their breaths mingling in the stillness... "Bambi..." he said, his voice tinged with longing... "I never stopped loving you either... But when you left, I thought it was over... and I don't know..." The younger male nodded, his gaze locked with Yoongi's. "I don't want to ruin what you have with Taehyung... I just needed you to know how I feel, even if it's too late..."

Silence settled between them once more, the weight of their unspoken desires heavy in the air... Yoongi's heart ached for the young man before him, torn between the past and the present... Suddenly, Yoongi's phone buzzed in his pocket, breaking the spell... He pulled it out and saw a message from Seokjin, asking when he would be home...

"We should talk about this more.." Yoongi said, regret lacing his voice... "But not now... I need time to think..." Jungkook nodded, his expression filled with understanding and sorrow... "I understand, Yoongi hyung... Take all the time you need..." As they parted ways that night, neither of them could predict what the future held. Love, once buried, had resurfaced, and the choices they made now would shape their destinies...
