The sun shinned through the dark lake, causing it to lighten up the water and window,y/n woke up at 7am and began to get ready.
"Books check,potion cauldron check....hmm..." y/n thought for a moment debating whether she should take Nova with her or leave her there sleeping. 
Eventually, y/n decided to take Nova because she woke up and wanted to give with her.
* Good morning, Misstress* Nova said happily hissing 
"Good morning Nova,did you sleep well?" Y/n asked, looking at Nova with love.
*I slept alright,but when's breakfast fast?* Nova said, swaying her body a bit.
"I was just about to go. Come on, Illinois treat you there," 
Over the past 2 years and 3 months Y/n and Nova grew as did their relationship,wherever Y/n went Nova insisted that she go's too,stubborn as y/n was she argued with Nova about going places with her but over time she accepted it and let her come wherever she went.
Some time passed as they were in the Great Hall eating breakfast. y/n looked over to see Harry enjoying himself with the redhead and fluffy haired girl.
Then Ember sat across from y/n and asked how she slept,making small talk.
"I didn't dream of anything last night,but I did think about how this day was going to go." Y/n replied 
"Aww.. really? I had a dream about my family and that we were having a picnic, " Ember said, smiling 
"So tell me, Ember, who's the guy at the table wearing all black? Near Professor Quirrell, " y/n asked as she was looking over at them
"Oh...that's professor Snape,he teaches potions class,but everyone knows he wants DADA class. He's been after it for years." Ember replied 
"Hmm...alright then" Y/n said as she was thinking about something 'Weird...they all seemed interested when I went up there last night,perhaps I should get on their good side. Find out what makes them tick' 
Then y/n got up and said she was done eating and looked at her chart for classes.
Classes/Curfew 
9am - Transfiguration 
10am - potions 
11am - Charms
12-1pm- Lunch
1pm - Defense Against The Dark Arts
2pm - History of Magic
3pm - spare time
4-5pm - spare time
6-7pm - Supper
8-11pm - spare time
11:30 pm - Curfew 
12am - Prefects rounds
"Oh,we have the same classes, but how come yours goes until 2 pm? Mine goes till 3 pm." Ember said, looking at y/n's chart
"I don't know,perhaps it's for studying or something. I'm not sure. " y/n said unbothered by her chart

Sometime passed after Y/n and Nova ate breakfast. There was an hour before her first class as she had transfiguration and then potions.
So y/n being her,left to go study all her books and found each subject quite easy to do. Then it hit 9:45am and y/n left her room with Nova and began walking to potions class as did other people in the first year.
As soon as she sat down in a desk, Ember came as well and just settled all her stuff down to begin class,while y/n did it before her and wait for class to start.
