Chapter 21 - Shift of Energy

Start from the beginning

• 1 pint of blood sought from a sacrifice of a male Indian peacock, only found in India.
( Considered a symbol of beauty, grace, and pride, the male peacock's elaborate and colorful tail feathers are often associated with prosperity and good fortune.

• 5 Larimar Stones/Crystals
( Larimar is one of the cardinal Water element stones, yet it is born from Fire in its volcanic origins. One of the few crystals to balance the polarities of these energies, Larimar cools tempers and calms fears, relieves stress and nurtures the physical and emotional bodies. It is powerful in meditation and in connecting to the Divine Feminine, and is particularly helpful in releasing emotional bonds, patterns or principles that no longer serve. A stone of clear communication, it provides the strength and courage needed to speak openly from the heart.

And finally, last but definitely not least.

• A handful of bark from the Tule Tree in Mexico.

But Niall knew it would be worth it. With this knowledge in hand, he set out on a journey that would take him through dangerous territories, treacherous waters, and even into the realm of the supernatural (that in itself is a tale all of its own for another day) With each ingredient almost secured, Niall felt closer than ever to saving Louis.

Finally, after weeks of searching and battling through various obstacles, Niall called Harry with the wonderful news, and flew to Mexico where he met up with Harry with all the necessary ingredients in his hands, except for the very last ingredient- the bark.

Harry was grateful to Niall for his dedication and bravery in finding all the information needed in discovering the cure. And Niall was forever changed by his encounter with the wise and powerful spiritual leader of the ancient Queensland tribe. Unfortunately, it also came with the distasteful reminder of meeting Mitch Rowland in Mexico, an evil leader, now and forever, always marked upon their skin.

With trembling hands, Louis delicately holds the vial, his eyes filled with disbelief. He can hardly contemplate what he's seeing, the weight of its implications finally sinking in. After a moment of careful thought, he places the vial on the coffee table, as if handling something incredibly precious and fragile. The room is filled with a heavy silence, as the enormity of the situation hangs in the air.

He gazes at Harry, who's nervously biting his lip, clearly anxious about Louis' impending reaction. The room is thick with tension, and Louis, struggling to process the news, starts to hyperventilate, his breaths coming in quick bursts.

" Harry, this is unbelievable, it's freaking crazy. I'm at a loss for words, honestly." Louis exclaimed, his anxiety rising. Harry, the alpha that he is, pleaded with him to stay calm, sensing the omega's distress.

"Are you alright? Look at me, please Louis." Harry's voice brought him back to reality. As he met Harry's gaze, he saw nothing but concern and love in his eyes. Louis was torn. This cure could be his ticket to his former life, but the idea of changing back to an alpha after embracing his omega identity for so long now, left him scared and confused.

Gratefulness washed over Louis as he looked at Harry. He had spent years believing that Harry was dead or simply gone forever, only to have him miraculously return with a potential solution and a heart wrenching story. But he had to consider the consequences here. Did he truly want to become an alpha again? Was he ready for the responsibilities that came with it? And what about Bree, his daughter? The mere thought of her brought tears to his eyes as Louis retreated, finding his place back on the lounge.

Sensing Louis' hesitation, Harry knelt down, reaching out to hold his trembling hands.

"I know this is a lot to process, and I can see how overwhelmed you are. Please, take all the time you need. I'll be right here by your side, ready to support your decision whenever you're ready to revisit this. Your emotions matter, and I want you to feel comfortable with whatever decision you make. You're not alone in this, but for now, I think it's really important for you to go to bed and get some rest."
