Cole Foster on top....
Really???
"You look happy. Did she die??" As soon as Elrid had placed his foot inside the room, Miles was in front of his face. His expression one of curiosity as he floats around the boy.
The boy groans, clearly exhausted from the previous enquiry done by Sylvia- about his friends and the movie they had watched. Having an overly protective mother who happens to be a writer is a worst combination. Sylvia Forest is the nosiest person anybody could meet in their life and the second place goes to Miles Gillen. And Elrid doesn't know why but the fate decided to put both of them in his life. Even though Elrid narrated everything and anything that had taken place during his outing with his friends; he didn't utter anything about his date with Caleb or better about the male itself. It's not like he wanted to lie about Caleb or scared about his parents' reaction for him being gay or bi or pan; he's not quite sure about the correct label. But whatever. Quite contrary, if he tells his mom about the date, he can bet his precious candle collection that the woman will surely call a wedding planner and start planning their wedding right away; even if he screams it's their first date. And he didn't want to jinx his relationship with Caleb like that. Nor does he want to gets his hopes up, even though there is a second date. He doesn't want to overwhelm the male with his feelings, call him paranoid, the boy doesn't care. Because it's the truth.
"Who??" scrunching his nose in confusion, he looks at his ghost buddy.
"The bitch who snatched the man in your dreams.... who else???" the ghost shrugs, his eyes expectantly waiting for the boy's response.
"What?? No!!!"
"Then why are you happy????" Now Miles was the one who is confused.
"There are several other reasons to feel happy, y'know?? Like the man of my dreams doesn't have a fiancé or how he asked me out on a date today or about the second date we planned for Saturday...." He retorts, as he strides across the room to his closet, earning a scoff from an agitated Miles. He knows the boy's trying to pull his legs.
"You kidding?" Elrid just hums, innocently shrugging as he starts looking for his dark grey silk pajamas bottoms.
"Wait!! You're not kidding???" The ghost suddenly exclaims, standing at the door with dumbstruck expression; realization hitting him hard. Elrid walks out the closet, grey silk pajamas in hand; purposefully ignoring the ghost.
"Seriously!!!! "Miles shrieks. "He took you out on a date!!! Really??" he flew across the room just as Elrid shuts the bathroom door in his face, internally snickering as he shrugs of his hoodie and jeans.
"You are evil!!!!" a cackle came tumbling out of his lips as he heard the ghost's exasperated shouting. It's fun to mess with him. Hearing the ghost's tantrum, Elrid baths like no one's business; a soft smile playing on his thin pink lips as he thought about today. God it was exhausting; but Elrid liked....no, loved the day.
The date was...nice. After spending almost two or three hour- Elrid isn't sure about the time- with Caleb, talking about anything and everything and practically nothing, he found out that; the skull crushing look of the older one was just a mask. Caleb was confident and calm; representing his aura- a colour between turquoise and blue. He was also caring and sweet. And... he gets flustered, really easily. And Elrid loved that fact about him so much so that he took advantage of every single time he can tease Caleb; which was honestly not that much but still it was something. Right?
