"Aliyu" Iman called giving me the water to drink.
"Just calm down, now we know what country she's in, we can find her" she said again I just kept staring at the blank wall.
"Let's call her again" I said as I looked at her.
"Aliyu we can't, she'll think you're desperate" she said
"Well I am, I need her desperately" I said as she hugged me
"Aliyu just be calm, she'll call back" she said
"How's you know?" I asked
"I'm certain, if she could call you after 4 months she'll definitely call again" she said 
"What if she takes long" I said 
"She won't" she responded 
"I need her, my Maryam" I said as I felt Iman hug me even tighter
"Be strong and get well soon, so we can find her" She said 
"I'll be with my phone from now on, Incase she calls" I said as Iman broke the hug
"Alright, but make sure you don't call first" she said as I nodded.
Heaven knows I'm not listening to that, I'll definitely call my Maryam the moment she leaves this room.
"When will you leave?" I asked as she let me a suspicious smirk
"Are you chasing me so you can do what I just told you not to" she said raising a brow to it
"No" I said as I looked away from her
"Guess I'm going to leave with the phone and when she calls I'll come give it to you" she said as I looked at her almost immediately
"No, that's not necessary I already said I won't call first" I said as she chuckled
"It's okay, I know you miss your wife but give her time okay, she'll call I'm sure she misses you too" Iman said as I smiled
Had no idea why that smile came out but I just had to
"I pray she calls soon, I love her so much, it's getting difficult without her" I said as Iman placed a hand on my shoulder
"She misses you that's for sure and she'll call just give her time" she said again as I nodded
"Now I have to go down, mum's so gonna scold me" she said
"I'm sorry" I said knowing it's going to be my fault
"Don't apologize, it's okay" she said smiling at me as I smiled at her
"Come here to cry when she's done okay, my arms are wide open to comfort you" I said as she chuckled
"Of course, my big brother's here for me" she said as I smiled at her
"I'll leave now, don't call okay" she said as I nodded watching her leave the room
I stared at my phone, staring at Maryam's contact actually.
I was fighting the demons in me not to call first, the urge was there but I couldn't give in.
If I call her and sound desperate she might not want to talk to me, she's mean.
I'll wait, how long will I wait.
I was lost in my thoughts when I felt my phone vibrate.
Coming back to reality it's Maryam calling.
