Short but really important chapter 🥺
Jin woke up when he felt that Jungkook was still not beside him. He feels so thirsty and he found that the water on his side table is now empty. He went to the bathroom and washed his body, then looked for a shirt so that he can decently go outside to drink water. He also planned on checking Jungkook.
After drinking water from the kitchen, he got curious more where Jungkook is. He can't find him at the kitchen and all the lights were already turned off. He looked at the clock and it's 11 in the evening. They went to their room at 8 and Jungkook probably left an hour ago.
He was about to go upstairs when he heard a voice from the garden. He checked on it and found that the garden door was open.
He saw Jungkook still talking over the phone. He was about to go to him and ask him to sleep when he heard what Jungkook said. He stayed for a while to not distract Jungkook from the conversation. 
"I will be home tomorrow. We can meet at dinner." Jungkook said.
Jin thought that it might be a client so he planned on going back to their room but before he can turn around, he heard something that will break his heart forever.
"I do. I miss you. I love you, too, Eun Woo." His eyes widened. He wanted to shout and cry but he did not want Jungkook to notice that he was there. He covered his mouth but his eyes betrayed him. He was about to go when he bumped to someone upon turning around.
Taehyung's POV
I saw Jin wearing just his shirt. Good thing I was bringing my cardigan again. Aish, this child. How can he go around just walking in shirt. I was about to cover him with my cardigan and tell him to go to bed when I saw Jungkook on the phone.
"I do. I miss you. I love you, too, Eun Woo."
Wait, did I hear it correctly? Jungkook just said that over the phone. Jin heard it clearly and I did, too. My hand froze and so did Jin. He was about to turn around but when he did, I saw tears on his eyes. I hugged him tight immediately.
He tried crying in silent.
I heard Jungkook say more on the person over the phone but my attention was now on Jin who was sobbing non-stop on my chest. It looks like Jin doesn't want to be heard so he was silently crying but I can feel his tears on my chest, wetting my clothes.
I pulled him to my room, making sure that Jungkook won't see us.
When we were inside, Jin started crying loudly. I hugged him tight again. My heart is breaking seeing him cry a lot. I don't think I'll be able to handle this pain I am seeing in him.
He just kept on crying while I rub his back to calm him down.
"Jin.. please stop crying."
But he never talked. He never allowed me to do anything except to hug him.
He was fisting my shirt so tight and I'm scared that he might also hurt his hands by what he was doing.
I pulled his face and looked at him. His whole face was drenched on tears. It was so painful seeing him like this. How can Jungkook use him like this?
I want to punch Jungkook.
Jin was hiccupping from over crying then he looked at me.. "le-let me calm d-down.." he said.
I nodded.
He hid his face on my chest again and said "d-don't tell, Kook"
I was torn. I want to punch Jungkook. I want to take Jin away from him and make sure that he won't see him again. If he ask why, how can I say that it's because of this?
Jin looked at me again. "Pr-promise me y-you won't fight him. A-and yo-you won't tell him?"
I nodded even though this is against what I want to do right now.
Jin hid his face again. He's not sobbing anymore but I still feel fresh tears.
After few minutes, maybe Jin was already tired from crying. He stopped crying but he's just staring blankly at my shirt.
"Lay down for a while. I'll tell Jungkook we were unable to find him earlier that's why you opted to sleep here." I said to him.
He nodded and I helped him to lay down the bed.
I put blanket on him and planned to sleep outside, probably on one of the bedrooms.
Just when I was about to close the door, I saw Jungkook going outside his room.
"Have you seen Jin?" He asked me. I want to really punch his face so hard but I promised Jin. I breathe in and out. 
"He's inside. He's already asleep. He was looking for you earlier but can't find you. He said he'll sleep here since he got scared earlier. He's asleep now."
"I can take---"
"No." I said blocking his way from opening the door to my room. "I mean, he's already asleep. Let's leave him there." 
"Is he hurt?" Jungkook asked.
"Probably." I answered.
"I want to see him. Why is he hurt?"
"Jungkook, really? Can't you just let him rest?" I said pushing him slightly.
"I'll let it go tonight. But Jin and I will talk tomorrow."
"That's between the two of you." I said. He went back to his room and slammed it hard.
I looked at Jin who was blankly staring at the ceiling. I let him sleep while I stayed at the sofa beside the bed.
I will be busy due to work-related things... i just wanted to post this. I hope you are enjoying this book so far. I hope to finish this book before this month ends.
