Life felt extremely comical and dramatic to Yiseul. Her eyes gazed at the stars from her balcony. A single moment had turned her life on the other side. How could the person who wanted to kill her when she met him turned out to be her long lost brother?
"How'd he find you though?" She was accompanied by Dokyeom, "Apparently he suspected me being his sister and even if it was a little ray of hope, he did a DNA check" And the results were in front of them.
"You are one lucky person, Seul-ah" he wasn't envious, he felt relieved. "Seungcheol hyung loves you more than you think. His eyes hold so much adoration and affection for you" he sipped from his cup of tea, he had brewed.
"It feels weird, Seokmin-ah...I was always alone even with my adoptive parents and now suddenly I'm someone's family, by blood" Dokyeom understood where she was coming from. "I don't think family comes from blood relations...look at us, we're closer than anyone" he referred to his relationship with his members.
"We're more close than family but neither of us are blood related." he wrapped his arms around her shoulder, "You were family neitherless if you weren't hyung's sister...you are family"
"Thanks Min" Yiseul couldn't be more contended with them by her side. Her life finally felt satisfying and happy. "Cha Junjae is holding a party tomorrow night" the male informed his friend.
"Is anyone attending?" "Apparently Jeonghan hyung is the only one attending..he has some work there" Yiseul tried working the gears in her head. "So he's not going for the party?" Dokyeom disagreed.
Yiseul needed to attend the party in order to uncover the truth Junjae was hiding. He knew more than he let on, she needed to find the real culprit behind all this mess.
"There's no way he would let us near him when he knows we are after his neck. Jeonghan hyung was only let to attend because our client requested so"
After talking some more, they bid each other good night and went ahead for slumber. "I need to go to the party tomorrow" But a negative point for Seungcheol to allow her to attend the party. "There's no damn way Oppa would allow me, I would probably need to sneak out"
The next morning Yiseul wanted a reason to go out tonight, without anyone tagging with her. "Oppa the thing is-" Seungcheol was preparing breakfast for her.
"I need to my parents today" Seungcheol didn't know what to say when he heard her call them 'PARENTS'. "They aren't your parents, Seul-ah" even Yiseul hated to call them parents.
"I know but legally they are" She hated calling them 'Parents' when all they gave her was unhappiness and sorrows. "I'll take over your custody. I'll be your guardian" Seungcheol was firm on his decision.
"Right now though, I need to see them. I've been gone for months now" Yiseul was defined a good liar as the mafia leader trusted her words. "You can take one of the boys with you" "I can't" she abruptly cut him off.
"They'll think of it like something else and probably bug me for that" her brother gave her a skeptical look, unsure of what to say. "I'll be fine, Oppa" she reassured him.
Even with a lie, she dreaded even mentioning them. "Fine but when will you back?" she answered by saying she'll be back by midnight. They were going out for dinner.
"I would've joined you, they'd be shunned" Seungcheol hated how those two knew but never informed him about his sister. Seungcheol never liked them in the first place but he put up with them just because of their parents.
Yiseul readied her inner self for tonight. It was absurd for her to go in an uncalled battlefield alone but she needed to do that. He sure knew things that would be advantageous for SVT.
