Today was horrible. Owen brought his girlfriend to diner.

Her name is Eva. Isn't it the dullest name in the world? She was so posh at dinner. So weird for her, because every time I see her I also see her panties, (I mean her skirt is small. I've never actually seen her in her panties, maybe you got that but I was just making sure.) trashy.

The whole reason for the dinner was: they are engaged.

Christina was happy and screamed when she saw the ring. James said he was surprised and that he should've introduced them before. Camille and Jamie said that Eva was very pretty. I didn't say anything. No one noticed anyway, too focused on what they just had announced. As a matter of fact I didn't say anything the whole night.

When she had to go I saw them through the window hugging and kissing before she got in her car. Then he came up, oozing happiness and excitement and asked me what I thought about her.

"She's nice." Then I turned off the light.

"She's nice? That's everything you have to say?" He laughed.

"Well, she was very nice."

"I guess."

Then he fell asleep, I could her his snores. But I just couldn't wrap my head on the fact that they are getting married, it's like... you've known someone for so long, and you think that your lives are going to turn out some way and then they end up turning in a very different direction.

I guess, I just hoped he and I.

Nothing.
