Now we're at Solar Town, there is a Contest and Reisa is going to participate in this one.
"Reisa, you will be fine." I decided to tell her. "Just take it easy and you'll win it for sure." Reisa takes a deep breath as she goes to change her clothes.
"Now our next contestant is a beginner, please welcome Reisa!" The MC says.
Reisa wears an aqua dress with a lot of sparkling shells, she takes a breath and says, "Marill! Time to show our moves!"
Marill comes out with bubbles appearing. Then he shows off Bubble Beam and Ice Beam, making floating ice around him as he stands on them, using Double Team, he also starts to sing choir, then he finishes with a Play Rough through all the bubbles, causing the field to sparkle.
"Amazing performance! Marill really surprised us!"
Reisa is first nervous about her score. Lillie turns to me and asks, "Will she be okay?"
"I am sure she will be fine." I say.
"Indeed. Dad really gave her a lot of training, she will be fine." East says.
True to his words, Reisa gets a score of 26, therefore entering the quarter-finals.
In the battles, Reisa uses Quagsire. She uses Yawn and Mud Shot to get a higher score on the first opponent who uses a Sentret, then Rain Dance and Mist to show the beauty when facing the second opponent who uses Chikorita. In the final round, she manages not to lose a score when fighting a Sunflora, Quagsire uses Earthquake and a Giga Impact while spinning to win.
"The winner of the Solar Contest is Reisa!" Everyone cheers for her. Reisa is shocked. "I did it!"
After awarding the Solar Ribbon, she goes to meet us. I smile at her and say, "Now that we are even."
"Sure, but I won't lose." Reisa says with a determined face.
Then there is the annual Sunflora Contest, Ethan finds a depressed Sunflora and he wants to participate in the Sunflora Contest with it. Although Team Rocket is trying to ruint the contest, thanks to Sunflora, it sends Team Rocket flying. Ethan also manages to capture the Sunflora in the end and named it Sunbo.
After training with Ethan's Sunflora against my Chikorita, I decide that it is enough for her, but she refuses to go back and continues to fight the Sunflora.
"Chikorita! I said return!" I try to recall her, but she keeps dodging. It only causes everyone to look with surprise. Once I finally get it back into the Pokeball, I mutter, "What is actually wrong with you..."
In the Pokemon Center, I decided to call my Mom about the progress, then it was dinner time, and we tried to feed everyone food, but Chikorita was just sitting at the window. Lillie says, "Chikorita? Why don't you eat with us?"
She tries to put the bowl in front of her, but Chikorita just bats the plate away with the leaf.
"What did I do wrong?" Lillie feels defeated as Chikorita doesn't seem to listen to her.
"Chikorita... that wasn't nice." I sigh.
Kris looks at her own Chikorita and then mine, and she says, "Megaree didn't have any symptoms like that..."
"Pokemon behavior is driven by psychology." Then Nurse Joy appears in a doctor's outfit and asks, "Does that Chikorita belong to you?"
"It belongs to both of us." I say. Nurse Joy reveals that she has a degree in Pokémon psychology from Celadon University. She decided to have a counseling session with us. After asking some questions, she says, "I think I know the problem. Chikorita is suffering from envy."
