Jisung looked at the person who was already there. Both of their cheeks tinted red after locking eyes with each other.

"Minho, this is Jisung."

"Yes, I know him. We're in the same class."

"Awesome. Hold on, I'll be back in a moment." The magician went somewhere inside. The circus was big and presumably had a few compartments within.

"You look to be very intimate with the magician," Minho said, trying not to express the glint of jealousy.

"Yes, he's cute and has seriously amazing magic tricks."

Minho felt insecure and envious, but also the magician was pretty older than Jisung so he brushed off all the weird thoughts.

"Since when do you come here?" Jisung asked.

"Since when do you come here?"

"Not that long," Jisung muttered.

Suddenly, a parrot flew into the circus.

"Stop bickering like a married couple. This is why I don't like high school couples," Miyeon said.

Minho conveyed the impression as if he had liked what he heard, but Jisung snapped,

"How can we be couples?"

"Why can't we be?" Minho asked, his gaze unwavering as he peered into Jisung's exquisite doe eyes.

Jisung was taken aback by his question.
They stared at each other like time had stopped. Noticing his surprised reaction, Minho quickly changed the subject.

"Are you a homophobic?" He asked with a theatrical gasp to denote he was being ironic.

"N-No," he rebutted.

Jisung felt silly for getting flustered by Minho's words earlier, realizing he didn't mean it that way.

Chan reappeared, easing the previously tense atmosphere. They noticed two glasses in Chan's hand, one of which was filled with a blood-red liquid.

Jisung was wondering what it could be when Minho whispered right in his ear, making him startled.

"Could it be blood?"

Jisung grimaced. He was always patient with Minho, but now that they had become friends and Minho was deliberately annoying him, he wanted to smack him.

Chan cleared his throat and announced,

"I sincerely beg my audience to pay attention to me."

With that said, he poured the fluid from one glass to another, but surprisingly the first glass remained full as well. Thus, they had two glasses of the drink.

"That's a free magic trick and a glass of grape juice for ya." Chan flashed them his loveable eye smile.

"Wow, that's so cool." Jisung applauded Chan.
