Buck thinks that eddie is mad at him from the lawsuit and thats why he is avoiding him. Then he gets a call and the truth comes out.

Buck was finally back with the 118 even though they were still working everything out they were at least talking again. 
Bobby and him had already dealt with their issues and were back to normal however buck couldn't seem to understand eddie.
Usually he could read him like a book but even after he said he forgave buck he pulled away.
They didn't hangout like they were suposed to. He made any and all excuses to not make plans with buck and it was getting on his nerves. Something was up and he knew it 
So he went to bosko. After the name tag incident she had came to him and told him she had never planned on replacing him and didn't mean for it to upset him. 
They had talked and he had asked about eddie. He had learned she took him to the ring and he had gave her a dirty look to which she looked back guilty. Buck would have known it was a bad idea and would have never let him. 
He knew eddie, he knew he would use it as an outlit. That all lead up to tonight. Buck was at home sitting alone just staring into space. 
He looked at the clock which read 11:00pm. He then heard the phone and grabed it confused. 
He sees Carla's number and picks up scared that something happened to either eddie or Chris.
 "Carla what's wrong?" He asks quickly.
"Is eddie with you?" She asks her tone obviously laced with fake calm as not to upset Chris who was worried about his father and why he hasn't come home. 
Buck could hear Chris in the background asking if his dad was with buck.
"No he isn't. I haven't seen him since our shift. He hasn't come home?" Buck asks looking at the time once again. He should have been home. 
"Alright I'll call him and get him home sorry for you staying so late" he says and his mind immediately goes to the fighting ring. 
Carla quickly responded "don't worry about it I don't mind taking care of my favorite Diaz now bring the other and yourself home." Buck hearing their words smiled
 "always."  He said before Chris was on the phone. 
"Buck I don't know where dad is. I'm worried" the sound of his voice made bucks heart ache. 
"It's ok buddy. I know where he is and I'm going to bring him home I promise" he says and once Chris has agreed and he says his goodbye. 
He hangs up. As soon as his phone is off he goes rushing out the door. He had gotten dressed and shoes on while he was talking. 
He tried Eddie's phone but it doesn't answer so he goes straight to the fighting ring. 
He parks and goes towards it seeing eddie in the back. He walked over and grabed him pulling him away from the crowd before anyone could notice. He covered his mouth in case he yelled.
He knew he hadn't driven there, his truck was still at the station. He felt eddie resist but he pressed him against the jeep. 
"What the hell are y-" eddie begins but then he sees who it is and his face shifts
It goes from surprise to anger then ends with a guilty embarresed look.
 "Buck what are you doing here?" He asks his voice low now. 
Buck takes a deep breath to stable himself before he speaks 
"do you know what time it is?" Buck answers his question with another.
