Eichen House 
Scott picks up one of the guard's two-way radios and pushes the button as he pretends to be a guard himself. 
"Does anyone have eyes on the Closed Unit ? I need a status report" Scott enquired. 
"It's a war-zone down here" One of the guards replied. 
"Uh, 10-4. And what about the patients ? Lydia Martin ?" Scott questioned. 
"Who is this ?" The guard became suspicious. 
"It's ... Unit 9" Scott anxiously replied. 
"There is no Unit 9. Who is this ? How did you get --" The guard is cut off by Dcott crushing the radio after he realises his cover is blown. 
"All right, we need to figure out another way to get into this closed unit" Scott sighed. 
"How do we get through the mountain ash ?" Liam enquired. 
"I don't know yet ... But there's somebody else here that might be able to help us" Scott locks eyes with you, causing you to nod. 
"Who ?" Liam noticed the look being exchanged between the two Alphas infront of him. 
"Meredith" You informed him. 
The three of you quickly rush down the hall, slipping into Meredith's room before you can get caught. 
Meredith's Room 
Meredith is sitting in a chair with her back to the trio, Scott wastes no time in trying to get through to her, Liam face indicates that he believes it will be a pointless endeavour. 
"Meredith ? Meredith ? It's Scott. Scott McCall" He addressed her. 
When she doesn't respond, you walk over to the chair, spinning it around, revealing that Meredith is in a near catatonic herself, likely due to the medications being given to her. 
Scott kneels beside her, he squeezed her hand, desperately trying to get her to say something, Liam keeps watch at the door visibly nervous. 
"This is pointless. We should be trying to break the barrier" Liam whispered to you. 
"Which might also be pointless. Atleast let him try. If not, I'll go look for another way in myself" You replied. 
"Hey, Meredith, can you hear me ? We need your help. We're trying to find Lydia. We're trying to get her out of here" Scott placed his left hand over hers, she stared blankly at the wall. 
"Scott ? I think we-we better go ..." Liam stammered, becoming increasingly nervous. 
"Meredith, listen -- there has to be another way to get to Lydia. We can't get past the mountain ash. How do we find her ?" Scott enquired, seemingly not hearing his Beta. 
"Scott ..." Liam looked at him anxiously. 
Meredith simply blinks in reaction to his words, Scott sighed defeatedly, his head falls forward and rests on their entwined hands, he stands and starts to walk towards the door. 
Before he can step forward, Meredith clings to his hand, gently pulling him backwards. 
Scott's relief soon shifts to concern when she takes his hand and slowly puts it on the back of her neck. 
"I could hurt you ..." Scott frowns in worry, Meredith keeps hold of his hand. 
"I should do it" You spoke up, Meredith released Scott's hand, he looked at you. 
"Have you ever done it before ?" Scott stepped away from her, you nodded, flicking out your claws. 
"... Between my time in France and Mexico. I think I've had enough practice" You inserted your claws into the back of her neck, both of you gasped in response to the action, closing your eyes.
