"As you command, Supreme One," Oblivion said. Oblivion, Darkseid, and Chaos King bowed deeply and backed away from the throne. Only Shub remained, kneeling before Ainz with her head lowered.
"Do you have any information about this so-called Voyagers Shub?" Ainz asked, his tone casual but curious. Shub's eyes widened in shock and fear.
"How do you know of them this time, Supreme One?" The Outer God stammered as her emotion slightly slipped.
'This time?' Ainz thought, intrigued. 
"They are the ones who watch over the Outer Beings and destroy them if they pose a threat. They also shape the gods to oppose us," Shub answered quickly to her Master's question. 
"We have enemies on all sides, and we are blind to their movements" Ainz said and leaned backward to his throne. 
[Nova Search for any information about these Voyagers from your sources and report to me as soon as possible] Ainz ordered telepathically.
[Yes, Supreme One]
While [Nova] was busy, Ainz noticed something that caught his attention.
"Shub, you said something that intrigued me. 'This time'. What did you mean by that?" Ainz leaned forward to his throne, his eyes glowing red with intensity.
"This is not the first time I have served you, Supreme One. But this is the farthest I have ever gone. In the past, you were either killed instantly or everything vanished after Oblivion, Darkseid and Chaos King left the room" Shub confessed, she looked troubled as she looked down on the floor. 
"And you never told me this before?"
"I tried to, Supreme One, but every time I did, you met your end. I do not know who or what is behind it. Please forgive me, master." She slammed her head to the ground, cracking the floor and making a loud noise.
[There is a theory in the Archives of the Elves that might explain what she said, Supreme One. It is called the Time Block Theory. It states that Time itself can manifest and interfere with the events of the world. There are many records of such occurrences, but no solid evidence, as no sentient being has ever witnessed Time's intervention. The Goddess of Wisdom has said that Time is both part of reality and separate from it, and that it has a mind of its own that no one can control, not even its creator. Other theories that are related to the Time Block Theory are the Block Universe Theory and the Concept of Panpsychism in Philosophy.]
'So Time is essentially a being, but not quite.' Ainz thought. The thing that confuse him the most is that he quickly understands it.
[There are laws of reality that are beyond our comprehension, Supreme One. Even the Great Grandfathers and Grandmothers, or the Voyagers, cannot interfere when these forces act.]
