Fishing Trip

                                    

                                          
 It was finally Friday which is when they all will be heading up to the cabin once the boys are out of school. While they waited for them to get out Stella began packing her bag and Billys while Kelly packed his and TJ's for the weekend while also making sure to grab camping and fishing gear. Once they had everything packed they loaded down Stella's jeep and Kelly moved TJ's booster seat into Stella's jeep as well. They headed back in and decided they likely needed to pack some food and drinks for the road as well because no matter what they had just eaten a road trip always made them all hungry and more thirsty than normal. 
 They packed some sandwiches and chips into a few zip lock bags and placed them on the counter "Come here" Kelly said motioning Stella towards him "Why" Stella asked as she headed towards him. "I just want a kiss and to hold you a minute" Kelly said before kissing her and picking her up heading towards the couch. Things quickly intensified as Stella said "why don't we go have some adult time before we go to get the boys after all we aren't going to be able to these next couple nights" Stella said with a smirk "Bet" said Kelly as he ran off after her going to the bedroom before catching her and having sex. 
 Once they finished it was time to grab the food and keys before heading to get the boys and going on to the cabin. They picked the boys up and headed to Hardys for burgers before heading on up. The road trip consists of conversation from the new "best toys" according to the boys, how their days were, how excited they were for this weekend, and singing classic country songs along the way. Kelly also told a few of his childhood memories at this cabin as well and Stella could tell immediately how significant of a place the cabin is for Kelly. Before they knew it they had arrived. Kelly headed up to unlock the door before unpacking the jeep. "That room right over there is where we will all be sleeping" said Kelly pointing to a door down the hall to the right. Stella walked in and got kinda nervous when she saw there was just one bed and it was decent sized but she wasn't sure if it would comfortably fit all 4 of them. Kelly finished unloading the jeep before joining them all in the living room. He told them to turn on the TV and get comfortable he would be right back he just had to go grab some wood to start a fire.
 Kelly rushed back so they could make some hot dogs over the fire and later on hopefully toast some marshmallows while watching a thanksgiving movie to end the night. And they did exactly that before they all headed outside to stargaze "Rush here TJ look at this it's so cool" yelled Billy as TJ rushed over "Oh my God I've never seen anything so beautiful" TJ said. Kelly and Stella shared a smile before sharing a kiss and going to take their own looks through the lens. They headed in and grabbed a blanket out of the hallway closet to cover in before getting comfortable on the couch and Kelly turned on a movie for them. Stella and Kelly sat beside one another while Billy and TJ were beside one another. They all loved the movie and were excited for tomorrow but knew they had to sleep to prepare. "Are you sure we will all fit in the bed" Stella whispered to Kelly "Yes and if we don't I can sleep out here on the couch. I don't mind I just want y'all to be comfortable and happy" Kelly said in return before they headed off to the bed. Stella was shocked when they all fit and were supringly pretty comfortable. Stella slept on one side of the bed and Kelly slept on the other with the kids in between. They decided to hide their hands under the pillows and hold hands while sleeping as they still haven't told the boys yet that they are a couple although they know they will have to soon. They all dozed off and slept well
 Saturday quickly came and pretty much went entirely to fast. Kelly had told them that after dinner he would take them fishing to which they all agreed would be fun. Kelly spent most of the day talking about all of the fishing trips he has had at the cabin through his childhood and adulthood as well. It felt like he had to many stories for one day to be enough to get them all out. After they had dinner they headed down to the lake and fished for a few hours before going to get their baths and getting into PJs to roast some s'mores and head to bed. Billy winded up catching 5 fish, Stella caught 4, TJ caught 5, and Kelly caught 8. Kelly catching the most did not shock anyone but that didn't stop Kelly from acting like they should have been shocked. Stella got a little pissed off at him after he let his ego rub it all in. She felt there was a better way to be a "winner" but she didn't want to argue so she just let it go. They roasted s'mores and headed off to bed and slept just the same as they had Friday night. "I'm not ready to head home tomorrow. Are you?" Stella whispered to Kelly after the kids had fallen asleep "No. This trip has been the best. We all needed this chill time away from the rush of Chicago and just to truly take in one another. The fishing trip this afternoon brought so many memories back that I loved with my dad and I'm glad I get to do that with a family of my own now. A lot of my good moments with my father were spent here and fishing" Kelly said earning a sympathetic smile from Stella. "I love our little family and what it's becoming. I'm truly so grateful and blessed to have a man like you by my side and to be such a mentor and dad to Billy even though you don't have to. You only have to do that for TJ" Stella told Kelly "Absolutely not true. If I'm going to love you I need to love Billy too especially if he's going to be my step son and I can't treat Billy and TJ differently when at the end of the day they are both just my sons" said Kelly. "We are so blessed to have you in our lives " Stella said "And I'm extremely blessed to have all of you in my life as well. Y'all all play a part in why I am how I am and who I am " said Kelly before kissing Stella and telling her goodnight and that he loved her before dozing off.
