"Okay, baby, you know what to do, right?

"Yes, mommy, throw flowers on the flowr and swand next to dada," Aria says back to me as I fix her hair and hand her the little flower basket, which she takes and runs up to Ma.

I walk over to the mirror, adjust my dress, fix my hair, and put on some earrings.

"Why don't you look stunning, baby?" I turn around and see Chris standing in the corner as Aria is tugging on his dress pants.

"Get out of here," I say as I shoot him a wink, and he lifts Aria, and they exit the room. I put my heels on, and I can hear the music start. I grab my bag, run down the suite and onto the beach, and stand next to Stella.

The music starts to play, and I see Aria running down the aisle, attempting to throw the flowers, and starting to frown when it's not working the way she wants it to. Chris walks up to her, picks her up, and helps her. They stand next to Scott.

I smile as it's Scott's wedding date today, and we are all in Cape Cod celebrating Scott and Steve. Nine months have passed by now. Chris and I had started over; we started as friends, and Chris took me out on a few dates here and there, but I still wasn't ready to fully let him in at that time. The most we've done is go to second base, but after seeing him in his suit, I want to break that and jump him right now.

We ended up moving into Chris's home, and I sold my apartment. I remember the look on Aria's face when I told her we would be living with her dad. Chris and I would sleep in different rooms for the first three months, and slowly, as feelings progressed, I moved into his bed. True to Chris's word, he never left us, stepped up, and was a hands-on father, which I never had a single doubt about. Aria has him wrapped around her tiny finger.

Chris's family is back in our lives, and I'm so glad. I missed Carly and Shanna so much. I couldn't believe it when I found out Shanna had gotten married, but Chris and she made it up to me by telling me stories and showing me videos.

I smile as I watch Steve and Scott say their vows, and Aria is in her father's arms, smiling and clapping. Last month, we celebrated her third birthday, and Aria was so happy to be around her cousins and family. I had to admit that Chris did go a little overboard, and I let him.

Chris ended up crying that night, and we let me cry because we couldn't believe how big Aria had gotten in the past few months.

...

It is a lot later, and I'm getting ready for bed. Chris is outside, rocking Aria back to sleep. We decided to leave the reception a little early since it was already 11 p.m. and Aria fell asleep after 9 p.m., and Chris suggested we leave.

Aria had actually danced the night away, to the point where she fell asleep on the side near a table. I am trying to pull the zipper of my dress, but I can't reach it, and I'm getting frustrated and letting out a huge sigh.

I then feel hands reach my zipper and pull it down, and I look in the reflection and see Chris.

"You only had to ask, sweetheart," he says as he kisses my now-bare back. I lean into him, holding the front of my dress.

"I know," I say as I roll my eyes.

Chris stands next to me and takes off his watch, shoes, and socks.

"Did she go down easy?"

"Out like a light. In fact, she's snoring tonight," he says as he walks behind me again and helps me take the pins out of my hair.

"Well, she did have fun; I was worried when we woke her she wouldn't go back to sleep easily," I say as Chris runs his hands through my hair, massaging my head.
