Chris Pov
I can not believe myself right now I am parked in Lana's parking lot of her apartment complex. After tossing and turning last night I decided I needed to speak with her and apologize it was eating me alive. I can see her car parked in front of me so I'm guessing she is home today. I shut the car and grab the flowers and a little gift bag with the dog stuffie I brought for Aria. I fix my flannel and my baseball cap and walk down a few flats and take the stairs to her apartment. I walk past a few until I notice her front door is open a little I can hear Aria crying and Lana seems frustrated as she is talking loud. Maybe now is not a good time... Fuck it.
I knock on the door and I hear her footsteps running to the door, and I hear a screaming Aria in the background.
"Finally what took you so long," I hear her say as she opens the door.
"You're not my Uber, Chris?... Just what I needed great..." she says and groans.
Lana looks like a mess her hair is everywhere and she has tears in her eyes Aria is on the couch crying, while who I assume is Steven is trying to comfort her.
Just as she is about to speak, somebody interrupts us.
"Here Lana just take my car for crying out loud..." Steven says walking towards us.

Lana Pov
Today did not go as planned. I was supposed to be having Lisa over for lunch and  plans have changed. This morning I had to run to a near book shop and drop off and sign a few things for next week's book release and I needed someone to look over Aria as she was still napping. I didn't want to but I ended up asking Steven to watch over her. I kissed Aria goodbye and was walk towards my car and headed towards the local Barns and Noble.
After spending twenty minutes going over a few things I was headed back home and when I unlocked the front door. Steven was on the floor as Aria was screaming bloody murder. I didn't even take my shoes off and rushed toward her. Her entire face was red and swollen and I didn't even have to ask Steven anything, when I saw him eating some peanut butter crackers I knew exactly what happened. I ran into my bathroom and grabbed a Epi-pen and give it to Aria as she started screaming louder. I held her for about thirty minutes while she slowed and claimed down and her breathing was normal.
"What the actual fuck Steven!" I yell out grabbing him to the kitchen.
"You knew she was allergic to nuts and you still gave her a fucken cracker you-" I didn't even finish my sentence when I heard Aria throwing up I rushed to her and see was shaking as she was throwing up blood and her entire face was pale while she was burning.
I wasted no time and picked her up and grabbed my purse and walked down to my car only for the car to stop working on me. I called an Uber and left a message for them to come to my front door. I placed Aria on the sofa and went to grab some children's medicine and I saw Steven was still there I started to yell at him, and I was starting to get really emotional and Aria was crying.
I heard a knock at the door and I rushed to open it only to find Chris standing.
"Chris- You're not the Uber what are you doing here?" I ask him and Steven interrupts us.
"Just take my car, Lana," he says as he grabs my arm and I push him back as Aria is throwing up again. I grab my little baby and rub her forehead as it was burning up.
"Steven just leave you've already done enough," I cry out and Steven walks towards me Aria Chris wastes no time and pulls his arm and kicks him out.
