Lyra's POV
We left for Rivendell at least a month ago (with fast help from Beorn and his wife) and have been here for a long week. Lord Elrond was very welcoming, even if my husband is a dwarf. I sat by the pools...thinking.
"Lyra?" Kili's voice came from behind me.
"Yes?" I whispered, still looking at the water. He caressed my hair, and kissed my shoulder. I sighed and turned to him.
                          
"I want to have a baby with you, Kili..." I kissed him softly.
"We're still trying, you're still trying. A baby takes some time, my star." He whispered. 
"Alright."
                          
Pema's POV
{WARNING: VIOLENCE}
~2 months later~ 
I am now 5 and a 1/2 months pregnant. I told everyone before Lyra and Kili left. I placed a hand on my stomach as I read in the library. Then I felt a sudden chill behind me.
                          
"Thought you'd keep this from me, Pema?" Uncle Rilhon hissed, tugging my hair.
"Don't touch my children..."
"Children? I know you're not counting your eldest...How many are in there..." He dragged a knife along my stomach, softly,"Two? Three...?" 
My breathing hitched as I felt him press the knife against my stomach a bit harder. He chuckled menacingly, plunging the knife into my womb. I cried out and fell from my chair.
                          
"They could've been Zach's, Pema. You know that." Rilhon disappeared, leaving me. I called for help weakly, then passed out.
                          
I awoke in the healers' wing. I looked around, seeing them talk and hearing my name. My hand was placed on my stomach, but there was no bump. I quickly sat up.
"No..." 
A healer turned to me,"My lady...We are so sorry...2 didn't make it, then the third...is very weak."
"Where's Fili?"
"Right outside."
"Please, I need him." I stifled a sob. The healer nodded and opened the door. Fili rushed to me and kissed me. 
"Where are they? Where are our children?" He looked around, but I cupped his face and shook my head, crying, so he kissed me. 
"Why would he do that?"
"You-you know it's Rihon?"
"It was obvious when I found you. He left a message in your blood."
                          
I laid back, a gasp escaping my lips."Why couldn't Ly and I have a normal life?"
"Because normal doesn't really mean normal, I guess." 
"Yeah, I guess." I whispered. Then Dis entered holding Vili and an envelope.
"Vili wanted you and you should read this. It's from Lyra."
                          
I grabbed the letter and Fili held Vili.

Oh god. My next child? What the hell do I tell her? I lost two infants! About to lose another...I started to sob hysterically, gripping the letter as Fili rubbed my back. 
                          
Lyra's POV
I packed my bags and got ready to leave, then Tristan came in my room.
"Lyra..." She whispered, a worried look on her face,"Lyra, something is wrong...I had a vision about a child. But...you weren't there."
"Oh..." I sat. She caressed my hair, sighing.
"I'm sure it won't come true. For now, enjoy the time with your husband."
I smiled,"Thank you."
                          
We got going. Kili smiled to me, kissing my hand as we rode. 
"Planning to come back here?"
"Yeah..." I looked back."But, not in a long time." 
                          
~1 week later~

Kili and I have travelled for a week. We set camp at the stone trolls location. I sat by the fire, reading. Kili came up behind me and hugged me. I turned around, sitting on his lap, and kissed him. His hands grasped my hips, pulling me closer.
                          
He turned us around and laid me on the grass. I undid his trousers and he slid my undergarment down. He kissed my neck, teasing and nipping. I moaned softly as he thrust slowly. He grunted, gripping my wrists. My breathing increased as he increased his speed.
