The U-Wing shot out of hyperspace and dived towards the blue planet. K-2 regained control over the fighter, while Cassian calculated and tracked their surroundings. Kitra observed the planet as they drew closer. She eyed the dark storms which covered the entirety of the upper atmosphere, while lighting illuminated within the thick clouds. Fitting, Kitra thought as they pierced through the atmosphere.

The fighter instantly shook, as thunder exploded around them. The lighting strikes shot a blinding light into the ship, as it illuminated the dark world around them. The heavy rain drops pelted against the windows as the wind steered the fighter off course. Kitra instantly held onto a handle which was secured beside the communication monitor, while Bodhi tightened his grasp onto the back of both cockpit seats while he directed K-2 through the air.

She observed the rocky pillars which towered over the terrain as the U-Wing weaved through a large canyon. The mix of terrible weather conditions and the tall cliffs did not fill Kitra with a lot of confidence, as the strong wind rocked the ship from side to side. Her grip around the handle tightened as her knuckles whitened under her strong grasp. It was not a surprise to her that the Empire had planted one of its main Kyber refineries on a planet which was as dangerous as Eadu. Only a miniscule percentage of the galaxy's most talented pilots could navigate their way through the planet; even with K-2 piloting the ship, Kitra grew anxious by the possibilities of his reaction time not being quick enough to dodge the weather. "I'm one with the Force, the Force is with me." Chirrut muttered to himself, as he prayed. For once, Kitra could not blame him for deciding to connect to the Force Gods in such a dire situation as their current one.

"20 degrees to the right. 10 degrees up." K-2 spoke, as he steered the fighter in various directions, descending the fighter closer to the ground. Bodhi's eyes widened as he watched the terrain through the windshield. "Lower, lower, lower. Lower!" Bodhi commanded, as he shouted at the droid in panic. K-2 peered towards the defected pilot, "Are you sure this is the way?" K-2 questioned as he continued to lower the U-Wing.

"They have landing trackers here. They have patrol squadrons. You've got to stay in the canyon. Keep it low." Bodhi explained, as K-2 punched the fighter into a steeper descent. Kitra's feet started to slide from where she stood from the intensity of the angle that they lowered in. The girl peered towards the cockpit with an anxious look as Cassian flicked various switches, and pressed different buttons on the data screen beside him. They continued through the canyon, as the ship weaved between cliffs and through the gorge. The darkness cloaked many rocks within the shadows, causing K-2 to make many last minute turns, throwing Kitra around as she held onto the handle for dear life. "Watch your right!" Cassian called out, as K-2 veered to the left.

His maneuver rocked the ship again, as various weaponry fell from their secured places. Baze's blaster rifle and weapon pack were thrown onto the floor, prompting the veteran to stand up and secure it back into place, while he held onto the over-head handles with a tight grasp. "There's a 26% chance of failure." K-2 announced, as he steered the U-Wing onto its side again.

As he did so, the weapons compartment opposite Kitra swung open as many detonators rattled. "Osik." Kitra swore with wide eyes, as she reached across to shut the compartment, only to find that her arm wasn't long enough. She let out a dreaded breath before she released her grip around the handle and launched herself onto the other wall, before she reached round and pushed the compartment back, closing it into a secure lock. The girl peered forward to K-2, "I'm starting to think you like those odds, K-2." Kitra muttered as she held onto the wall by the handles of the drawers.

"How much farther?" Cassian called down as he peered towards Bodhi. The defected pilot panicked from the constant yelling around him as he peered between the two rebels in the cockpit, looking with manic eyes. "I don't know, I'm not sure. I never really come this way." Bodhi revealed, making Kitra glance towards Cassian with anxious eyes, while he shared a glance with his droid. "But we're close, we're close, I know that." Bodhi assured, not exactly helping to calm the rebel's nerves.
