You're running

You felt so young, so scared. The trees was filled with fog clouding your vision of the path ahead of you.

The darkness was not helping either. The moonlight was so low making everything darker around you.

You were running. Trying to flee from something. From someone

You dragged on. Your legs completely tired and burned but you still kept running, stumbling too from the uneven path.

You had nothing specific in mind to go to. No destination. No home

You felt so young and scared. So helpless and alone. You felt the sorrow and agony of loneliness to the fact that if you could, you would go to the nearest tree and hope to just die there. Alone

Then you some smelled smoke.

Somewhere nearby, something was on fire.

You felt suicidal. You immediately ran towards the smoke ignoring the path. Finally knowing what your destination would be.

You passed tree by tree running as fast as you could ignoring your burning legs and scratches in your feet and knees from the pointy roots and branches that scratched you

Finally you reached the source of the smoke. It was a bonfire. Obviously someone made it which meant someone was nearby.

There was nothing else nearby but a clearing surrounding the fire.

Your suicidal self looked at the fire and went dangerously close to it.

The feeling of agony and pain. The feeling of guilt passed through you.

The place felt warm but you still shivered. You dangerously walked closer to the fire feeling the burning heat infront of you. Your eyes gleaming like crystals from the fire light.

You wanted to touch the fire.

No, Be burned by the fire. The temptation surged through you. You wanted to burn. Literally burn.

Just one more step... One more and you can burn. The feeling of guilt never leaving your body.

To the fact that the feeling of guilt became a part of you.

Became one with you.

You suddenly opened your eyes.

You were back at the hotel room. Laying at the bed that you slept on last night.

Giyu was gone and the space beside you was cold. He must have left for a long time.

You sat up from the bed. And without noticing your whole body was shaking.

The feeling felt horrible. You were shaking like it felt cold but not freezing. You shivered a little. Still shaken from the dream.

You never had those kinds of dreams before. To think about it you never had dreams after you woke from your amnesia.

You tried to stand but it took lots of effort. Your body felt like jelly and you muscles just moved sloppily.

As you stood up your knees felt weak, so you slowly sat back down using the bed-frame for support.

The dream felt nothing like some sort of memory. You were sure it wasn't a memory.

But it felt familiar somehow.

Slowly the door of the restroom opened and Giyu went out of it.

You both immediately had eye-contact and Giyu's reaction from looking at your expression was surprised turning to concern.
