Zoe grabbed her heels as she ran down the steps following her Sphinx cat, Chewbacca, down the stairs. "I'm coming, boy." She muttered as he kept meowing at his bowl watching her grab his breakfast.

"You're lucky you're cute." She muttered as he started to eat. She didn't hesitate to make a pot of coffee and lay out one muffin and grabbed an apple before rushing up the steps.

In the room across the hall from her own, her twin brother, Dexter was still sound asleep ignoring his alarm, which was now on the floor, and broken. His lacrosse uniform was hanging up neatly with his lacrosse stick and helmet next to it.

The uniform was clean and steamed as the rest of the room was messy.

Zoe sighed seeing her brother's door still closed. "Dexter!" She yelled banging on the door, hoping to wake him up. "Dexter, we have to get to school. It's our first day."

"Jesus, women." Dexter said, opening the door now dressed in a black tee and a flannel in his hand. "I'm up. Come on." He said, leading his sister down the stairs. As Zoe grabbed her bag and her coffee to go as Dexter grabbed the muffin and his keys.

Zoe laid out some treats for Chewie leaving the apple with one bite on the coffee table. Zoe put on her heels before getting into her brother's car and he instantly started driving. She fixed her hair and started to put on her makeup making her brother scoff.

"Did you even brush your teeth this morning?" She asked Dexter, making him mock her in response. "Are we going to see mystery boy today?" Dexter asked after a moment of silence. Zoe flicked the top of her brother's head before staring at Beacon Hills passing by.

"No, that was Freshman year Zoe. I'm just going to let this year go by and hopefully graduation will come soon." She muttered. "You know it's okay to love someone different?" Dexter asked her, "You don't have to be afraid anymore."

Zoe sighed as the two pulled into the Beacon Hills High School parking lot. Zoe looked around seeing all the students excited to start the new year of school and see their friends daily. She opened her mouth to respond but she saw the look on her brother's face.
