Ahsoka sat down on the co-pilot seat, while I manned the guns. Master appointed himself as pilot, he's was probably the most equipped for the job anyways.

"Now let's get Stinky out of here!" Master smiled and clicked a button.

The ship buffered.

"Uh...." I hesitated.

"Just hold on." He said clicking the button over and over again.

"Master..."

"Just a sec."

He kept slamming his finger down on the button as the ship barely responded.

Ahsoka groaned loudly getting impatient.

"Relax Snips," Anakin reassured "R2 see if you can spark the ignition couplers."

R2 made his way over to the console and did what was asked.

"Uh uh." I looked back at Master after it didn't work.

R2 beeped back.

"No that's not it," Anakin responded. "Try opening up the fuel lifters all the way."

The lights in the ship clicked on, it was running.

"Good work buddy."

Anakin got the ship flying and flew us in the direction of the Monastery.

"Master Kenobi is here, now we'll see some real fireworks!" Ahsoka gleamed.

"Excuse me?" Anakin sounded offended. "What do you call what I've been doing all day?"

"I don't know, Liyah help me out here. What word could describe our entire day?" She asked me playfully.

"Hmmm I don't know Snips... 'reckless'?" I giggled.

"Very funny." He rolled his eyes. "Back to work, the troops still need our help. Giggles charge the main guns."

"How are we gonna help? Stinky's getting sicker and sicker by the minute." She held up the Hutlet.

Before I could charge the guns I took a look at Stinky, he was in bad shape.

"Masters she's right." I interjected.

"But we promised Rex we'd help him." He countered.

"Master, we've got to get him to the medics on the Jedi Cruiser. It's our only chance to get Stinky back to his father still breathing. Back me up on this." Ahsoka looked back at me.

"She's right master," I said again. I felt like I was ganging up on him.

Anakin looked at Stinky, who had begun crying.

"Captain Rex, this is general Skywalker."

"We're not going to be able to help you..." He frowned.

Anakin flew us up to the stratosphere, we were almost to the Jedi Cruiser.

"Master I tried my best to stay calm, focused, and when I did everything seemed so easy." Ahsoka broke the silence.

I wish I could have related. Every time we step out into a battle I have a feeling of uneasiness, but when I'm with these two, I can push those feelings aside. I could feel myself growing an attachment. If I were to lose any one of them in the heat of battle, I don't think I could let them go like Master Yoda says a Jedi should.

Our ship was hit by oncoming fire. The separatist army was attacking the Republic.

"Stay focused because things are gonna get a lot harder!" Anakin said.
