Chapter 7: City

                                    

                                          
You leaped through building to building on the roofs.
Giyu was fighting the demon in an alleyway somewhere near right now.
As you arrived at the scene a sudden flash of water slashed through and you barely had time to process what was the demon. 
Giyu slashed his sword with amazing speed with only a fracture of a second and the demon fell down. With a separated head. It's body started disintegrating.
"You stupid human! I should've just stop playing and eaten you already! How dare you not say anything! You have no sense at all! You're so dumb! You don't even know how to spe-" Before the demon could finish the sentence you immediately cut of the demon's head using your sword and cut it to different pieces with speed.
Nobody insults Giyu like that. You thought bitterly.
You were about to turn around but before you could Giyu's hands hugged you from behind and that took you by surprise that made your stomach do a sudden backflip.
His arms were around your shoulders and he was just breathing behind your neck. His warm breaths making you shiver slightly.
"Giyu" You whispered holding his hands in your neck and you slowly turned your head to look at him. Feeling all the butterflies around you.
"I was so scared. It was as if you were sleeping so deeply like nothing could wake you up" He said with a hint of anxiety and paused processing what else to say. 
"I found that demon after, sorry for leaving you" He whispered his anxiety mixed with guilt in his voice that made your guilt increase
You slowly flipped your body facing him and hugged him around the waist "It's alright" You whispered back reassuringly and he buried himself to your chest which was adorable to you.
To your disappointment after a few more seconds he let go and you let go too.
"What happened?" Giyu asked and gently took your hand and dragged you out of the alleyway and you felt your face heat up from the action.
You took a deep breath and told Giyu about your vision-memory, the one you had right now and the other was the one with Shinobu but with less detail.
You both were walking through the city hand in hand. Giyu said nothing after a long time when you were done telling him.
You didn't say anything too. It was a bit hard recalling those events when you explained so some of the words were a bit jumbled up but understandable because your insides were bursting because he was holding your hand.
You could not keep your heart from the acceleration and electricity causing it to beat faster and louder. 
Right now the silence was deafening you. All you could focus on was calming your heart from this small action.
But you just couldn't because everytime you calmed down your mind would always replay the time Giyuu hugged you from behind.
This guy is going to make you go insane soon enough.
As if you weren't about this crazy already.
But your question was why. 
This feeling were all too familiar, and you felt from experienced that this happened a million times before.
Stupid memories. You thought solemnly.
If you could still remember, you would understand all these feelings. You would understand why you felt normal when other people do it but when it was Giyuu...
