"!? Trey! What..."

It all happened so fast.

Just a second ago, Solon's hand was mere inches away from grabbing the door handle. But the next second, a strong grip tugged on his wrist before his body was whirled around―

―not to mention the books that got scattered on the floor due to its lost grip, leaving behind a loud thud.

Solon couldn't see the other's face, but felt his head hung low beside his, hands pressed against Trey's chest. Those arms were wrapped firmly around the pink adonis' waist.

Not having it, Solon tried to shove him away. But it only tightened the grip on his waist, sealing his movement.

"Trey, let go." Solon's expression turned solemn. "This is a stupid way of making me talk to you, you know that?"

A moment passed and there was no sign of movement from the other.

His brows knitted. "Trey─"

"I'm worried, Solon..." A whisper laced with concern reached his ears.

At that, Solon turned still, his eyes casted down before glancing away. "You really shouldn't."

Solon's eyes widened slightly when he felt himself suddenly being pushed back a bit, parting the two a few distance away.

Those arms that were once wrapped securely on his waist had now moved to firmly grip onto his shoulders.

He could finally see his face. But when the Solon fixed his gaze, he noticed the distressed expression on the other's face─lost, confused as to what to do.

"Ace and Deuce aren't thinking right. Knowing how Riddle is, that match would be over the second it started." Trey's jaw tightened. "I'm worried about what comes after for them."

Solon pursed his lips, turning quiet for a while as he watched the other's expression intently. Letting out a sigh, he gave in as he let his body relaxed in Trey's hold.

"That's not your job, Trey." Solon stated in a calm voice. "They had an option. What they choose has nothing to do with us."

"But they're taking a big risk here." Trey's frown deepened. "If they actually went through with the match..."
