(In the shopping complex)

I parked the car and immediately noticed Penelope waving her hands through the rear mirror. Hannah rushed out of the car and embraced her while almost falling off. These two always make me feel like a third wheel in their friendship! Where is my hug? Not fair!

"Anyways, me and Penelope are going to get some boba! Have fun you two! Bye!" Hannah smiled as she dragged Penelope who was a little hesitant to a café. I sighed as I was left out with this guy again.

Well, I came here for the investigation anyways. So, I kept my eyes open for any suspicious activities...I must avoid the murder at all costs and keep the victim safe.

"You do remember those golden middle school days don't you, detective?" He asked which made me just irritated, "You were such a loner!"

"Look here mister Aaron, I have no intention of punching someone today, so if you will-"

"Oh please! Leave you alone? You are still the same, a sore loner!"

I had such a urge to punch that guy who was smirking, yes I did get bullied by this guy and was a loner in my middle school, so what? He was one of the MAIN reason I was so wild and a delinquent in my highschool days...how annoying.

"I am leaving" I said, cause, I hate wasting my time on brainless people. (THE ROAST LOL- )

The murder is more important than having to punch a childhood bully. But...I have to keep him near me. Not for Hannah, but...my detective senses are ringing a huge bell on my head to not leave him alone.

So I dragged him with me while he was cursing to a busy bakery which was in the middle of the complex so that I can keep an eye on things and forced him to sit with me. Yeah, he was still cursing me. Tch...

"Look here detective loner, if you just stop speaking to my girlfriend, then maybe I won't..." He mumbled the last few words with a look of a crazy smile on his face which, I couldn't really hear, but as I said before, he was not important in this situation. (Probably 'kill you' mehh)

I rested my hands over the table while interlocking them, ignoring his words. He is annoying and irritating anyways. I looked around slowly, careful not to create a suspicious. I strangely felt a strong glare of hate, it was his.

He suddenly got up from his seat with a glass of water in his hands and poured it over my head with a crazy smile. I faced my glare down on the table...cause, I can't hurt this b*stard who is her boyfriend. She will be disappointed in me if I do so. (ʘvʘ╬) ENDURE.

Water dripped down my face as the whole crowd glanced at me, some laughed while some felt bad for me, well...not the first time I can say. I controlled my clenched fists which were ready to throw some punches on his face...sadly this lucky b*stard is her boyfriend, geez.

"You do remember what happened back then when you ignored me, right loner? I just had to remind you twice"

"E-Excuse me" I stuttered in frustration, cause this wasn't my first time getting drenched by him. I got up from my seat and rushed to the nearest restroom to clean up, forgetting about the murder upcomming in this mess.

I quickly took out my handkerchief from my shirt pocket and wiped out my face with a defeated sigh cause if he just wasn't her boyfriend, then I would have beaten that b*stard up to a pulp! T-Then I heard it...screams of people. I remembered I left him alone. Oh what a mistake...

I anxiously rushed out and...I unfortunately failed to save the victim on time. There he was...lifelessly lying over the table with some spilt coffee next to I was sitting. I paced near the body and, to my surprise, there was no external injuries unlike the last one. I checked the victim's breath one last time in some hope of finding him alive...but nope.

"Henry!" I heard a familiar voice as I was relieved. It was Hannah and Penelope...all safe. But in all this...where is that b*stard?

"Ah...seems like the detective failed to do what he came here for, how pathetic"

Pathetic...that is what I am. If I had just stayed, then none of this would have happened. But now, this is the eleventh murder this month. How could father give me such an important case to me as the first?

"I...recognise the victim" Hannah muttered, and yes. Ofcourse he is familiar, I remember him always bugging her in highschool and getting beaten up by me. Gotta say, he was a great punching bag. (Wow such a nice thing to think about when the person is literally lying dead bruhhh, this guy is savage)

"Let us go home, babe, let your pathetic friends handle it" he smirked as he grabbed her hand aggressively and dragged her out of the scene forcefully. I guess it is fine, she doesn't have to see all this anyways.

"Henry, there is not even a single injury on him, how did he-"

"Poison ofcource...how amusing" I replied while examining the body,

"This does smell like rat poison..."

So, the murderer knew I was going to be here somehow which made him change his plans and to use the things from a store next floor. I have to check the cameras, but I am pretty sure he would have erased any evidences if there were any.

"All that aside, why is your hair wet?" Penelope asked, pointing at my drenched dark brown hair, "It was him, wasn't it?"

"Mmhm, that is not important right now" I mumbled with a sigh, "Penelope, I trust you with getting me a full report of every eleven victim's background by tomorrow"

"You can count on me for this"

"I may have a lead, if I am just correct about my hunch"

...

Hmmmmmmmmm...I can't believe I can write a murder mystery like this-

Whatever, guess what is going to happen next~
