"Well, seeing how you were with him and his son on the parent-student day, and how close you all seem, I only guessed it."
"So you spied on me?"
"Yeah, cuz I love teasing you."
Well— Soobin didn't expect that, at least not from Yubin's mouth. If it was Yeonjun, it wouldn't have surprised him at all, considering how much he loves to gossip. 
"Wait wait wait."
Arin waved her hands wildly. 
"Am I missing something? Like, how did you even meet Mr Kang?"
"It's a long story," Yeonjun replied. 
"YOU KNOW?!?!"
"Soob tells me everything."
"Thank you, for always exposing me," Soobin replied. 
Yeonjun simply cackled.

The two females looked in his direction, their eyes feigning curiosity more than anything else. 
"Care to share with us? We're your friends too."
"I'm also Juhyeok's teacher so..."
"I know, I was contemplating whether or not I should talk about this... I've been trying to figure it out the past few days, ever since I visited them on Christmas Eve."
Yubin nodded. 
"So, how did you meet?" Arin asked. 
"We met through Juhyeok landing in detention—"
"Thanks to me," Yeonjun cut in. 
"How again?"
"I put him into detention in the library; I could've taken him to the janitor's room—"
"Shaddap Yeonjun, I wanna hear the tea!" Arin exclaimed. 
Yeonjun pouted, and Yubin kicked him in the shin, making him cry out from pain silently. 
"Continue," she innocently smiled. 
Soobin gave her a thankful nod. 
"Right... I met Taehyun when he picked his son up from detention. Right from the start, I was wary of them both..."






"Dad!"
Juhyeok leapt off the cushion right next to him, and ran towards the newcomer with wide and open arms.
Soobin's observing eyes followed the child, until they wandered up and fell on the person Juhyeok was hugging. 
The moment he laid his eyes on him, Soobin was absolutely mesmerized. 
How could he not be?
He was so... beautiful. Soobin had never seen someone like him before, with soft-looking fawny brown hair, parted perfectly over his forehead, a face so carefully crafted, and his eyes. 
Dear god those eyes. 
Large, clear, and simply beautiful. Soobin could get lost in those galaxy-like orbs, which shone hazel in the reflected sunlight pouring from the window. 
But as he slowly got lost in them, Soobin suddenly spotted something. 
It was faint, but as someone who's strongly felt those emotions before, it wasn't difficult to see.
