Chapter 12: Marnie comes back to Galar

                                    

                                          
 Piers was thinking about kissing Seikatsu, wondering what made him feeling so brave: maybe it was that being her favoutiye singer had made him confident, motivating him to be more direct and dynamic. Moreover he was liking Seikatsu more and more, because she wasn't an obsessed fan neither a crazy one. Seikatsu from her side was shocked to see Piers behaving as in her fantasies, but at the same time she felt blocked: if thing would had gone bad with Piers, she still would had been able to listen to his music? To divide the artist from the person? So Seikatsu was in a state of uncertainty where she didn't know how to get, but she couldn't control herself when he looked at her and smiled, or when he was trying to hold her hand when they walked in the wreckage: during the exploration it happened that Piers would had hold her hand, smiling to her and often Seikatsu had the impression that the boy's look was different, that he looked at her with completely different eyes. Seikatsu was immersed into doubts, when she heard Latios' voice:"It's not your impression, it's really that. Not to hurry you up, but if you want to go over you've got an occasion." Seikatsu jumped: Latios wasn't visible, so hearing his voice was worse than a Ghost-Type Pokémon. Piers looked at her oddly:"Everythin's fine Seika?"-"Huh? Yeah sure! Technically Spiritomb should be here. You know, he's adorable! Then, like Sableye, he's a Dark-Type too!" Piers found her enthusiasm adorable, so he decided to follow her and going ahead with her until an exit of the ship. Seikatsu sent out Milotic and together reached the cabin where Spiritomb was. Piers got on Milotic first and lended a hand to Seikatsu, who was confused:"Look that's my Pokémon."-"Who cares? Get on." Seikatsu sat on Milotic, behind Piers, hugging him from the back. Latios, always invisible, nodded happyly and approving.
 Piers and Seikatsu came into the cabin of Spiritomb: it was quite dark, very messy and chaotic, with a gloomy and spectral atmosphere. But Seikatsu downplayed immediately:"Here you the representation of how Ban sees my bedroom. Even if it's just a couple of shirts on a chair." Piers chuckled, but he insisted to hold her hand, until they found a weird rock:"Hi Spirit, come out!" Spiritomb appeared, smiling and rotating happyly. Seikatsu and Piers pet Spiritomb to greet him and went out, when Latios called them by outside:"Guys, Marnie and the messy gang are waiting for us." Piers and Seikatsu went out and got on Latios, which carried them where Marnie and the others Pokémon were.
 Marnie didn't tell about her choice to come back to Galar to her brother and Seikatsu, so she waited to come back to Lilycove City first on Gyarados and Milotic, noticing how Piers insisted on staying ahead. She smiled to see hi happy with Seikatsy, then she became thoughtful about how communicating to them that she would had coming back to home the next day. Piers instead, enjoyed at the maximum of being hugged by Seikatsu, who just limited to blush and squeezing him without hurting him.
 After a ride on the sea and various jumps on the sunset, Milotic and Gyarados carried the group to Lilycove City, and just at dinner time Marnie said:"I'm comin' back to Galar tomorrow. Bede's called me, I must come back. Unfortunately my substitute isn't appropriated, so." Piers nodded sadly:"So, today's been our last day? What a pity, Hoenn's offering me lot of cues." Marnie sighed:"I come back, you stay as long as you want to. I'll come back when there's Cool Contest of Seika, I promise!" Seikatsu smiled:"Alright, I'll wait for you!" In the meantime Banette and Zoroark looked at each other maliciously, with Morgrem which was chuckling and then he put a fork into Zoroark's fur as a spite:"What the heck are you doing, fuchsia dwarf?! Baaan, can you pull the fork out? Seikaaa, can you punch him?" Seikatsu sighed and took Morgrem for his hair's tip:"So, little hyperactive mister, can you calm down? Look that I'll send you among the Cottonees, eh." He shook his head terrified and made sign that he would behaved good:"If you do False Surrender, I'm making you flying away." Morgrem stopped immediately and behaved good. Banette popped out from Zoroark's fur with the fork:"If you want I brush you and making you pretty hairstyles!"-"Ah yeah, the Dinglehopper. I play you the Beethoven's Fifth with a pipe."-"Better the pipe than the ass."-"Well, almost almost..." Seikatsu grumbled:"Can you two cut it out?" Zoroark chuckled, thinking about playing classical music with his butt, sat on Banette directly. Latios read his mind but he didn't say anything, as he wanted to enjoy the scene. Marnie and Piers found the idea funny, but they didn't say anything.
 In the evening, Seikatsu greeted the siblings, promising that the next morning she would had come back with her Pokémon to say goodbye to Marnie at Lilycove's port, then she got on Latios and flew to the Eon Island. Once they were alone, brother and sister discussed about following and not following, but Marnie exclaimed:"Bro, enough! I must take care of myself without you too! I get that you feel the weight for what happened, but it's right that you go ahead with your life and me with mine! I've got Team Yell at home, I'm not alone. If Spikemuth kills your creativity, stay here! I like Seika, I think that you should stay here and gettin' to know her better." Piers had the suspect that the two girls had talked, but he nodded:"Fine, tomorrow I'll walk you to the port." Marnie nodded surely, then the brother added:"But we're gonna call often and don't get in trouble,  cause it seems to me that Seika's chaotic duo's given you a bad influence." Marnie chuckled and shrugged, confirming Piers' suspects.
 During the night, before going to bed, both Seikatsu and Piers thought that without Marnie they had more time to dedicate to each other, and for working on their projects together, btu Piers was obviously surprised as it was the first time that he detached from his sister, but she was right and she had to learn how to take care of herself on her own. Marnie was relieved to go away, because she was feeling as a third-wheel as she had seen the chemistry between her brother and Seikatsu, so she felt superfluous although to them she wasn't bothering.
 The next morning, Seikatsu came on Latios, with Zoroark and Morgrem which were still snoring meanwhile Banette was awake:"Chill, they'll wake up with breakfast." Seikatsu said, answering to the perplexed face of the siblings. As a matter of fact, during breakfast Zoroark and Morgrem woke up, and once they finished it, Piers and Seikatsu walked Marnie to Lilycove's port. She hugged her brother, meanwhile Seikatsu gave her a Pokéball:"Yesterday evening, before coming back home, I caught a Pawniard. Train it and then tell me about your progress. I think that a Steel-Type is more effcient than a Poison one when it's about Fairy-Type." Piers rolled his eyes smiling, but Marnie giggled, then the girl hugged both of them and Seikatsu's Pokémon too: from Latios and Latias to the chaotic trio that had risked to make her eaten by a Sharpedo. Then, Marnie got on the ship and looked at the port until it disappeared from her view.
 Piers and Seikatsu observed the ship disappearing into the horizon, then Piers had small tears and Seikatsu cheered him up:"Come on, you're sister is strong. She'll make it. About you, you're in love with Hoeen?" Zoroark was about to reply instead of the boy, but Morgrem shut his mouth and Piers chuckled:"Yeah, it's not so bad. Maybe you'll be the first to listen to my new album, who knows." Seikatsu blushed and looked away, emotional by the udea to listen to the new work of Piers.
