Katie walks into the district. Trudy looks up.

Trudy: Hey Severide Dawson requested these.

She holds up files. Katie takes them from her. She walks upstairs. Antonio comes out of the break room.

Antonio: Alright we have the deal at 7. In the meantime revisit other cases, do some patroling. Just stay alert for any messages about the deal. Griffin will be back soon. Oh and Katie you are working with Al for today.

Al scoots his seat out. Him and Katie make eye contact. She grins at him. Her phone starts ringing. She walks downstairs.

Katie: Detective Severide.
Voight: So you finally answer.
Katie: Who is this?
Voight: Surprisingly you still don't know. Katie: Voight.
Voight: There you go.
Katie: What do you want?

Al comes down the steps. He sees her standing in a room. He looks at Trudy.

Al: Hey tell her I'm in the car.
Trudy: Will do. And Olinsky. Take it easy on her.
Al: Trudy you do your job I'll do mine.

He walks off.

Voight: I heard you are running with Intelligence now. Big downgrade from the feds. Katie: Why do you care?
Voight: I think you are going to be an amazing detective. Dawson has taught you well. But I can make you an even better detective.
Katie: How?
Voight: I could make a deal with you.
Katie: How about this. The answer is no alright so stop calling me.

She hangs up and walks out of the room. Trudy looks up.

Trudy: Everything alright?
Katie: Yeah.
Trudy: Alright Al is outside.
Katie: Thanks.

She walks out. He is up against the car.

Al: You know never in my life did I ever get placed with a female yet alone a teenager.
Katie: I'm 21.
Al: Still too young. There are recruits in the academy that age. And yet somehow you have already taken the role of agent and detective. Katie: You have a problem with that?
Al: The only young cops that age that I know sweet talked their way to get into their positions.
Katie: Well I'm not those other cops. I worked for where I am.
Al: Good, prove it.

He gets in the car. She shakes her head and gets in too.

Casey knocks on Kellys office door.

Kelly: Whats up?
Casey: Mystery sister?
Kelly: Yeah.
Casey: How's it going?
Kelly: Not good.
Casey: Oh come on. This is your sister we are talking about. Isn't it great that she came to Chicago to see you?
Kelly: Yes Matt it is. But I walked out on her 11 years ago and I feel absolutely terrible.

Al pulls up to the firehouse.

Katie: What are we doing?
Al: I thought I'd give you an opportunity to see your brother. You know continue your conversation from the other night.
Katie: How do you know?
Al: Your related to Benny Severide which means your related to Kelly Severide. Now go.
Katie: Thanks Olinsky.

She heads inside. Peter looks up.

Mills: Hey.
Katie: Hi.
Mills: Welcome to 51. I'm Peter Mills.
Katie: Katie Severide.
Mills: Your the girl who everyone is talking about.
Katie: Probably.
Mills: You here to see Kelly?
Katie: Yes.
Mills: I'll take you to him.

He leads her inside.

Mills: So you came back to Chicago?
Katie: Yeah. I was out on my own. Kelly and I haven't seen each other for 11 years. I knew it was time to come back home.
Mills: Wow I don't know if I could go that long without seeing my sister.

She looks down. He puts a hand on her shoulder.

Mills: Nothing to be ashamed of. Life gets busy.

Katie smiles.
