Chapter 16: I Remember Now

                                    

                                          

Muichiro finally remembered those words, it was still really familiar but he couldn't help. Tanjiro kept saying help is in the way and to not give up just yet. But Muichiro still doubts it, as his vision started to blur out, he snapped back after seeing a knife trying to struck through the water. It was Kotetsu trying to save Muichiro. "What is he doing? If I can't break this prison what makes you think you can?" Muichiro then noticed a small demon fish with a really sharp looking weapons as hands aproaching Kotetsu. Muichiro tried to warn Kotetsu but couldn't speak since hes in the water, the demon fish quickly slashed the boy's arms leaving scratches that are now bleeding, and then. It quickly jumped and went for the stomach. As Kotetsu's last moment he slowly walked towards the water vase and placed his face on the water. He swiftly provide him with a breath of air as he collapsed to the ground injured.
Muichiro then remembered that the Tanjiro who was speaking to him was actually his father. He used the second form  move to break free from the prison quickly falling off. He felt awfully weak as he tries to pull out of the needles from him face. They started taking effects on Muichiro. There were more demon fishes with the same sharp blades as hands coming towards Muichiro and Kotetsu who is on the ground. Muichiro quickly removed the needles and tried to attack but felt weak. But he did not give up. His memories finally came back and as he unlocked his full potentials, the marks appeared on his body once again. He first unlocked these marks during his battle with his grandfather not realizing what it is which is why he could not understand what did Koku.. Michikatsu meant. 
Muichiro quickly sliced these demon fishes away saving Kotetsu once again. "Don't worry about me Muichiro.. you have to save Haganezuka and Kanamori.. they are both in the shed." Muichiro quickly went to the shed to see Gyokko standing there going to attack Kanamori and just in a second. Gyokko realized something was behind him and quickly teleported away to another vase. "WHAAAAT?! HOW DID YOU ESCAPE FROM THE WATER PRISON VASE?!" Gyokko felt really annoyed with Muichiro who persists him and appeared behind him with another vase. the vase come from the underground forming a huge hole to the ground. Muichiro was hella sassy that he insulted Gyokko's arts. "That vase doesn't seem cylindrical.. what a sad sight to see.." It angered Gyokko so much he summoned 6 vases each of his arms with a fishes drawing as well but blue. "Blood demon art!" he ended up shooting tons of killer fishes towards Muichiro "Ten thousands Gliding Slime-Fish!" Muichiro quickly launched himself to deflect the attacks. He sliced thousands of fishes with sharp teeths effortessly leaving Gyokko shocked at how Muichiro gotten stronger. He did noticed about Mui's marks but he snapped out of his thought realizing Muichiro was going to behead him, he shed his skin leaving Muichiro confused and probably annoyed that Gyokko has more tricks on his sleeves.
Muichiro then looked up witnessing a completely new form that Gyokko took. It looked like a fish serpent monster. "Behold! my magnificent body with a skin as a diamond! only two people witnessed this form before you. and it will be the last thing for you to see it!" Muichiro remained silent until Gyokko felt irritated yelling at him telling him to say something. "Cool form but I don't think Im supposed to-" Muichiro was instantky cut off as Gyokko dashed to slice him with his sharp claws, he safely dodged them but it did hit his uniform. it started to crate fishes which was odd. the grounds where Gyokko hit even started forming fishes. Gyokko continued to talk how magnificent he is saying that now he is getting truly and TRULY serious. Muichiro then looked at him, with a menacing smile telling Gyokko is just getting weak. He quickly got down activating his 7th form. He clouded the area with so much mist that Gyokko was confused trying to locate Muichiro.
Muichiro then finally got closer and successfully sliced Gyokko's head off. It over. An Upper Moon have been singlehandedly defeated by a 14 year old former hashira. Gyokko was in shock. "Me..? of all people..? I lost.?! me?! OF ALL PEOPLE?!" Gyokko was really angry as he is forcefully trying to regenerate his body while calling how worthless Muichiro was. Muichiro got tired of hearing Gyokko's words and coldlessly sliced his head up million times. "And quickly go to hell right where you belong." the battle is finally over and the biggest threat to the village is now defeated. Kanamori quickly went to Muichiro to see if hes alright. Well duh. Muichiro is a demon he can regenerate. But he felt slight dizziness and ended up frothing and falls on the floor. Kanamori got shocked to see Kotetsu thinking it a ghost of his and it continued on as Kotetsu tried to convince Kanamori that he is infact alive.  
Muichiro was having a moment for himself. He finally regained his memories, he remember now. He had a family. His mother succumbed to her illness and his father died for falling while trying to find herbs to cure the mother. The only one he had left and was taken away again was his older twin brother, Yuichiro. Muichiro remembered the horrid events when a demon came by and killed his brother who tried to protect him and the kindness of Ubuyashiki's wife walking all the way to visit and even save the younger twin. Who was Muichiro. The "Mu" in Muichiro.. stands for Infinity. Kotetsu then aproached Muichiro showing him a sword's hilt that had a shape of a fire. Muichiro finally remembered Rengoku who was like an older brother to him. Muichiro cried as he finally regained his human past. He laid there crying.
