Jin admired his, Clio's and Naoki's handy work. He looked at the small holes throughout the enlarged net. They were the same size as the ones already present. Perfect. The net was finally large enough now to be used to capture any one of the two loose criminals. They had used up most of the string to do this but it was done. Now they just had to wait for the right time to use it.
"Great. It's finally finished," Naoki remarked after having worked on it for the past while.
"Yes. Now we just have to wait for hopefully Kurt to appear so we can capture him," Jin mused. "Maybe we can get Free back too?"
"I hope he's okay," Clio voiced out softly.
"I'm sure he is. He strikes me as a tough one," Naoki told him putting a hand on Clio's shoulder.
"Huh. Guys someone's approaching," Fubuki alerted as someone slowly materialized from the ever lessening shadows.
"Who is it? a cop? One of the criminals? Free?" Jin asked coming to the window where Fubuki was looking out.
"I think it's Theodore," Fubuki stated.
"Suoh, Naoki move the cabinet from the front door. I'll go see what he wants. Suoh you'll return to make sure Norman doesn't escape. Naoki you'll back me up," Jin ordered gently before turning to his right and addressing one of the ghosts. "Yes Orochi you can come with me too."
Suoh and Naoki quickly approached the cabinet at the front door. Then Jin unlocked it and stepped out with Naoki. Suoh returned to the living room to continue his vigil over Norman. When he returned he saw Norman on his stomach half in the kitchen. He'd tried to escape. It seemed he couldn't move though. He quickly realized one of the ghosts was pinning him down and preventing him from escaping judging by Norman trying to move and not being able to. Orochi was with Jin and Akira hadn't been murdered or shown an interest in any of the criminals or even been seen or heard from in a while. Was it Freddy holding Norman down.
"Silas who is it?" Suoh asked the other boy.
"It's Freddy. He noticed Norman trying to escape and stopped him."
"He's the one who was killed on the couch," Clio stated. "I know because of the emotions. He knows Norman killed him now and his anger is directed at him for that?"
Suoh turned on one of the audio recorders sitting on the table. He would try to talk to Freddy and take over handling Norman.
"Freddy I know you're angry at him. You were present when Jin got him to confess weren't you?...You need to release him and let me take care of things now. Silas how is Freddy pinning him?"
"He's got Norman on his stomach, as you can see, with a knee on his back and both hands around Norman's wrists. Norman doesn't understand what's going on."
"Freddy I have this," Suoh said coming forward and taking Norman's bound hands and pulling him up. He threw him into the middle of the room and grabbed the rusted sickle. "Now you're going to start behaving aren't you."
Suoh spoke to Norman in a low dark tone. His dark side was starting to take over. Those who knew Suoh knew he had another personality. A darker one then his usual calm persona. He put the sickle right in Norman's face as he spoke. Norman went still and nodded. Suoh's personality had switched so suddenly it startled him he was also shocked about being pinned by something he couldn't see.
