STORMING INTO MIGUEL'S office, I ignored the rest of the teams pleads for me to calm down. We had just screwed up an entire mission because I wasn't strong enough. I was covered in blood and wounds, but my adrenaline was high, so I couldn't really feel anything.

Miguel walked next to me, trying to get my attention while Gwen, Jess, Peter, and Hobie tried to calm me down behind me.

I could see through my peripheral vision how my body was lighting up with lightning, something I can't control when I'm angry.

"Please, Y/N, it's not your—"

"Shut up!" I shouted as I turned around to Gwen, "I am so tired of being weak! And I'm so tired of you guys lying to my face!"

Miguel turned towards the three, "You guys should go, I'll handle it."

"And you..." I say, my jaw clenched as I raised my fist. I groaned as I shook my head. I jumped up to the platform, looking through all of Miguel's drawers.

"Y/N, you need to calm down," Miguel jumped up beside me, looking down at me as I rummaged through his desk.

"Don't tell me to calm down," I told him, my eyes red as I looked up at him with anger.

As I continued to rummage through his things, I groaned in frustration as I couldn't my find what I was looking for.

"Where is it?!" I turned to him, yelling in anger.

"You're not getting anymore!" Miguel shouted back at me, "You need to calm down!"

"No," I shook my head, my voice dangerously low. I called Lyla, "Lyla, where's the rupture?"

Lyla cleared her throat as she looked at me, refusing to speak.

"Where is it?!" I demanded. Lyla continued to shake her head as she pointed to Miguel.

I turned towards him.

"Miguel, where is it?" I questioned him, "Where is the rupture? I need more."

"You've become addicted to it," Miguel explained, "I can't let you have anymore. Soon you'll overdose and that's blood on my hands."

I exclaimed in anger as I turned back to Lyla. "Lyla, lo juro, if you don't tell me where it is, I will disconnect you from everything!"

Lyla shook her head, "Y/N, don't you see yourself? You're an addict. You can't live without the drug!"

"Shut up!" I picked up one of Miguel's things and threw it at her, even though I knew it would go straight through.

Tears began to flow out of my eyes. I knew I wasn't thinking straight, I knew that I was acting irrationally, but I needed it. Without it, I am nothing.

Miguel put his hands on my shoulders, trying to calm me down. He turned me towards him and pushed my chin up.

"Y/N, please look at me..." he spoke softly as he looked at me.

I can't live without it.
I can't live without it.
I can't live without it.

I won't live without it.

I opened my eyes and looked up at him. I knew my eyes were red and I knew the lightning had grown stronger. I closed my hand to a fist.

Miguel looked down and sighed as he saw I wouldn't give up. He shook his head. "If you won't listen, I'll make you."
