The one person she didn't want to see.

The one person she never wanted to see.

The one person who had abandoned her.

The one person was Deckard Shaw. Her eldest brother pointed a very large, very powerful gun at her head.

April's eyes darted to every possible exit, all impossible to get to while Deckard stood in front of her. His eyes trained on her, watching her every move. Her brother knew all her tricks, knew how to use them against her. April wouldn't win against Deckard, both siblings knowing that fact neither one making the first move.

April took note of the side on which the gun was, running past Deckard on the same side. She knew he wouldn't be as fast to catch her but he could easily shoot her. April was, however, relying on her brother not shooting her. A shot rang out millimetres from her head, and she stopped dead in her tracks.

Turning around, Deckard was pointing the gun directly at her chest. Giving up on escaping her brother in the tower, she raised her hands hoping he wouldn't shoot her. He gave April a quick satisfied smirk before taking hold of her elbow.

He half led, half dragged April down the many stairs that were no longer full of people fleeing. Neither sibling said a word with April focusing on exactly what she wanted to say to him, and Deckard was focusing on not screaming at his sister.

Once outside, April tried to free her arm to shield her face from the sun. Deckard, unwilling to trust her, gripped her elbow tighter and pulled her closer. He pushed the gun further to one side before using his free hand and grabbing the back of April's neck.

She flinched at the sudden contract but if Deckard noticed, he didn't show it. He let go of her elbow and dove his hand into his pocket. Removing his hand from April's neck allowed him to grab her ponytail and pull it to one side. This forced her head to follow leaving part of her neck exposed.

Aware of what was about to happen, April tried to fight but being the youngest sibling didn't work in her favour. She felt a sharp pain in her neck before the world went dark.

The team met back up at the garage where it became apparent that no one knew where April was. Everyone began blaming one another for her sudden disappearance.

It wasn't until the appearance of Mr. Nobody did the blaming ceased. After a quick discussion, Ramsey was able to activate God's Eye. She quickly located Deckard Shaw and then April confirming her fears.

Fighting the resistance, April slowly opened her eyes. She blinked several times, clearing her vision not that it helped her in any way. All April could see was darkness.

Her hand a few centimetres from her face wasn't even visible to her. Carefully feeling around, April managed to discover she was locked in some closet-type thing. Swallowing her fear and past memories, April tried the door.

It was locked as expected, however after feeling around in her pockets for several seconds she found something of use.

A couple of Bobby pins.

The perfect tool to pick any lock. Of course, April knew what Deckard was doing. No doubt he was timing her, seeing how long it took her to unlock the door. April didn't know what she would find on the other side. Whether her brother would be watching, waiting.

Or whether there would be something worse waiting for her. Several minutes later there was a click and the door swung open.

"Took you long enough."

A light bulb buzzed above April's head, illuminating a few feet around her. Stood at the edge of the light was Deckard. At hearing the sound of his voice, April nearly ran to him. She took a step towards him before stopping.

She remembered how he had abandoned her.

She remembered how he chased Dom while she was hanging on for dear life.

She remembered how he kidnapped her.

She remembered how he drugged her.

She remembered how he locked her in a cupboard.

Swallowing her fear once more, she backed up much to the amusement of her brother.

"Glad you find this funny." She snapped, finding her voice.

He smirked at her, his eyes trained on her watching her every move. April followed her brothers lead and watched his every move too.

"Nice touch, the closet." April remarked sarcastically while she studied Deckard.

"Had to see if Owen was right." Deckard replied, his eyes lingering on April's face for several seconds.

A flash on fustrated flickered on April's face before she regained her attempted calm demeanour. While trying to think of a plan, April took another step back.

She thought if she could put enough distance between her and her brother, it would give her the best chance of escaping. Taking a risk, April allowed her eyes to flicker around and take note of her surroundings.

It was pretty dark but April thought of a few ways to use it to her advantage. After waiting in silence for a few more seconds, April made a run for it.

Behind her, she heard Deckard sigh in frustration before hearing his footsteps. April smirked as she begun preparing her next plan. Her smirk was completely wiped from her face when a light switch was flicked and the whole place became illuminated.

"You didn't really think I'd let you run around in the dark did you?" Deckard asked, hiding a snicker of laughter.

"I hoped you would." April replied before she took off running for the nearest door.

Deckard sighed once more as he began following April. Managing to catch up to her before she reached the door, he effortlessly pinned her to the wall.

Without looking at her, Deckard pointed the small hand gun he had in his hand at April. He pressed the barrel firmly into the middle of her forehead.

"What would our mother say to this?" She questioned, watching for a flicker of emotion from Deckard.

"One brother in the hospital, another on a mission for revenge and a sister caught in the middle of it all?" She continued.

There was a moment with no movement.

A moment of silence.

Neither breathing.

Neither making the first move.

Then one did...
