The Star Destroyer's engines roared, sending a thunderous vibration across the city. The walls shook as the motors powered up when the cruiser started to drift away from its oppressive position above the ancient city. The engine's power sent tremors across the desert plains, waking many creatures from hibernation as they peered around their surroundings.

Kitra could feel the vibrations drum against her ribcage. She tuned into her senses, listening to the distant motor rumble as the ship started to ascend away from the city. The Imperials were leaving; making Kitra frown in confusion as to why they decided to leave so suddenly.

The tight hand that was clasped around her arms continued to tug her through the sand, making her wrists rub against the hand cuffs that she was detained in. The heat from the desert made Kitra's face sweat, causing the sack over her head stick to parts of her face. She had to admit that it wasn't the nicest experience. She already hated deserts, but now that she was bound and dragged through one; it only added to her resentment.

Though luckily for her, Kitra was aware of her surroundings. Her father made sure that she learnt an important lesson on not restricting oneself to their vision in order to see; and now Kitra was rather thankful he did so. Kitra could hear the clanking of the weapons that the Insurgents held in their hands, and the various gadgets that were strapped to their belts. Along with that, she could sense that the man who was dragging her through the desert was growing tired, she could tell from his labored breaths and his heavy footsteps. As well as his grip loosening around her arm after every few steps before it was tightened again. Her observations told her that they were close to Saw's hideout.

Kitra's suspicions had been proven to be correct, as the grip around her arm tightened tremendously. The Insurgent became more rough with his movements, as he dragged her across the sand before she was thrown down a thin staircase. Kitra let out a groan, before she was tugged up onto her feet again and the sack was yanked from her head.

Her eyes blurred as she took in her dark surroundings. Kitra blinked a couple of times as her vision cleared, where she looked upon multiple Insurgents sat around various tables where they played card games. Her ears rung when she heard muffled grunts, making her gaze towards a group of Insurgents who shoved Cassian and the two Guardians into a cell. Kitra was quick to take a step forward to come to his aid, only for her to be held back as a knife was held to her neck. "Not yet." An Insurgent growled, earning a glare from the girl.

Kitra gazed forward, where she watched Cassian recover from his place on the ground. He quickly met her gaze, where he shot her a worried glance before he glared up at the guard. Kitra watched as the guard pressed a button and closed the door, which Cassian approached. He watched the girl as more Insurgents noticed her presence, where they surrounded her with chuckles of ill intent.

A man who spoke in an alien dialect pushed through the groups of men, before he glared at them. The men returned to their card games, as a small trio of Insurgents approached Kitra; one being the masked man who was acting as the leader from before, which Kitra guessed must have been Saw's right hand man. When the man looked down at Kitra, she looked back with a hard stare, where she refused to break eye contact with the man. "I've dealt with your kind before, you don't intimidate me." The alien man spoke in his tongue, while the two Insurgents beside him smirked.

Kitra's eyes traveled past the Insurgents, to where the detention cell was. Her eyes met Cassian's, who gazed back at her with anxious eyes. The girl sucked in a deep breath before she looked back to the Insurgents. As much as she would love to redecorate the walls with body parts and blaster holes, she knew where her priorities lied. Cassian was now relying on her, as the only rebel who was standing free. She knew that the stakes were too high, and that they were running out of time. Kitra could not afford to mess things up.
