Eventually, the holidays where over, and chaos ensued in the noble house of Black again as all the kids and Diana had to get back to Hogwarts."Are you not travelling with us?" Pippa asked Diana who was casually eating her breakfast. "Oh, no I'm just using floo-powder, remember that I need to get my classroom cleaned, and my office of course." She said.
"That's so unfair, can't I travel with floo-powder too?" Pip asked and Diana chuckled. "That won't be an option I think."
"Pippa! Start packing we're going in an hour and you have nothing packed!" Hermione voice came from upstairs. "You better listen to her." Diana commented. "Don't want the train to leave without you." She winked and Pip laughed and ran upstairs.
After putting her plate in the sink, Diana headed back her room and started to pack herself when two pops almost gave her a heard attack. "If you two do not stop appearing out of nowhere I will give you so much detention!" She threatened and they just laughed.
Crookshanks watched it all unfold with an amused look in his eyes as he laid on the chair by the desk.
"Not what we came for Andy.."
"But good threat anyway."
"Now, we just want to cooperate with you.."
"As you are of course our favourite teacher..."
"And might want to help us out."They grinned and she gave them an annoyed look. "No, I will not be storing your prank supplies in my office." She said and the twins frowned. "What! Why not?" George asked offended.
"Because I will get fired if Umbitch finds out." She pointed out and they snorted at the nickname. "Umbitch? I like that, you are getting more amazing by the day..." "almost as good as us."
She rolled her eyes and was about to comment when her door flew open. "Mum, where is my jumper! I can't find it and I had it here yesterday-"
"Pippa!" Diana said and the girl turned to her in a hurry. "Mum!" She said back in the same tone and then her eyes fell on the wide eyed twins. "You know what, I don't need my jumper." She turned back to the door. "You stay right there." Diana immediately said and she stopped walking.
"I'm in a hurry I can't have this now." She moaned annoyed. "Now that's what I call a turn of events." Fred commented. "I'll mark this as your problem, you have a long train ride to explain what just happened, have fun, Pip." Diana then proceeded to shoo the three of them out with a lot of complaining from all.
She closed the door and she heard chuckling behind her. "Don't you laugh at me, Reg!" She turned to the man that was a cat moments ago, sitting on the chair at the desk.
"It was pretty funny." He grinned and she rolled her eyes. "It's not funny! I want to tell everyone at my own time, but I guess this is fair for Pippa, their her best friends, I can't take it away from her." She shook her head.
"Hey, it's alright amour, those two won't judge you, they love you, honestly, they won't tell anyone else." He assured and she took in a deep breath. "Fine, it's fine. I'll get over it."
Regulus kissed her head and suddenly a shout came from the hallway. "Crookshanks!" Hermione's voice was heard. "Guess that's my cue." he winked and turned back into a cat. Diana opened the door and he walked out.
"He's here," she said and Hermione turned to them. "Oh, thank you, Professor." She smiled and picked up Crookshanks. "I'll see you at school." She told Diana as she waved and then left to her room.
Diana started to pack her bags too, taking everything she deemed necessary. She told the kids, Tonks and Remus goodbye before they left and then she was alone with Sirius again.
"You sure you won't stay?" He asked her and she sighed. Sirius' cheerfulness didn't last long after Christmas passed, he went back to his sad and drunk self, making Diana look after him.
