Is this really happening? I can't feel anything. Was this all because of the trident? I was crying "Why?...I trusted you" I spat out at her. She did nothing but watch me while she stood in front of her mother with the Trident of Oceanus.
"Chelsea was working for me from the start." Nerissa said in a nonchalant tone indicating she didn't care one bit about the betrayal. No she- "Don't be too surprised. I mean what did you expect from the daughter of the mermaid queen or better said... me!"
We were supposed to end the war. We were supposed to work together to stop exactly this from happening. "Chelsea please end this little one. Mom will go and take care of her mother" Chelsea who was silent up until now looked a bit shocked however she still nodded. "Good" Nerissa took the trident and swam away leaving us two friends-... well us two alone.
I guess this is it huh. " Well go ahead, end me" Chelsea turned away from me. "No.." she whispered. What. Did I hear her right? "Just stay out of this" She said before swimming away in the direction her mom went.
What... She can't just swim away after that! Did she not want to betray me?.......
No! Right now I have to save my mom. I tried to move however the rocks covering me were restricting my movement. NO NO please i have to go help my mom! I kept struggling for what felt like an eternity. After a while I just stopped. There is no point in trying. My friends hate me, my mom will never look at me after this and Grandmamah will be so disappointed in me. I close my eyes and try to think of better times....
