The second ring is way harder than the one from before. This time, the badlings causing hallucinations started to appear. Many, many of our people have to stop fighting because of them. The skyscraper people are still with us, but not as present as before.
We try to rush through this part as fast as possible. Allegra handed out some masks, but not enough for everyone. Would be a surprise if she had enough masks for the whole city...
In this ring, the squirrels are a huge help. They send most of the badlings into oblivion with their Nutzookas. From where did they even get them? It doesn't matter, at the moment, the squirrels look like trustworthy people. They won't destroy the city with their weapons, I hope. Juru seems to be fascinated by the squirrels, I think she's thinking about getting herself a bazooka...
Either way, the igloo is going to be in ashes once we're done here. I feel bad for the butterflies, but they're mostly dead already. Those badlings sucked out all life in this igloo, so it isn't that bad if we come around the corner and destroy everything. Everything is already destroyed, we just add a bit of chaos on top.
The deeper we go, the thicker the fog gets, eventually the squirrels had to go as well. Not because they started to go insane because of the fog, but because they couldn't see anything any more. The fog blocked their whole sight. They still helped us out, however. Shooting with their Nutzookas from further away.
Well, you can barely call it 'help', they're shooting aimlessly at the badlings.
But Juru still is fascinated by them.
And even if they cause more chaos than actual help, they somehow manage to defeat most of the badlings in the end. So... I guess they're helping a lot here, actually. The help isn't really helpful, oh, what the fuck am I saying?
The squirrels are helpful, there.
But eventually we reach the end of the ring. Allegra and Paola hold their stand, holding off any other badlings from getting near us. I stand in front of the last igloo. The fog is intense at this point, even the masks won't help them. It's just Allegra, Paola, Jaku, Juru, Lika and me.
Since they can't follow me any further, they decide to keep their stand here and try to stop any badlings from following me. Lika gives me one of her mirrors to use, Jaku gives me her lucky chant, Juru one big punch on my back, Paola makes sure all my wounds are healed, and Allegra gives me a small version of her briefcase.
Lika that, I'm now on my own. There isn't much time left anyway, I have to be fast.
