Japan was getting ready for a date, she was rather excited too because it was with her long time crush China. 
Her best friend America was helping her out, although.. well let's just say his 'help' was more so him panicking over the date more then her.
"Did you pick an outift yet?!" America yelled through the phone making Japan wince and pull the phone back from her ear. 
"No, Ame. I was hoping you'd help me out not scream like someone is about to murder you." She said slightly annoyed, the American either not picking that up or just not caring.
"Okay okay okay, uhh.. hold on I'll be over in like 5 minutes!!" America yelled out the last part before hanging up.
"Wh- AMERICA- and he hung up..." Sighing the Japanese woman looked at outfits she had once again, yet she just couldn't decide. 
This wasn't a formal date, at least she didn't think so as they were just getting coffee, so something casual perhaps?
As Japan was looking through her wardrobe for the fifth time she heard frantic knocking at her door. 
"How the..." She mumbled to herself before going over and opening the door to see her best friend standing there looking like he just ran a marathon.
"Ame, you good? Did you seriously run all the way down our neighborhood??" Japan asked looking at her friend with concern.
The two were actually neighbours at this time as she was there visiting him and staying at one of his spare houses he for some reason had, but either way America's house was a few minute walk from the one she stayed at, so the only way he got here so fast was if he had ran like his life depended on it.
"I- hhhHhhh, I'm fine!" America replied after gasping for air like he was about to die. 
Japan looked over to his house and in the corner of her eye she could've sworn she saw a disappointed looking Russia just standing at the window, she was gonna ignore that for now tho and ask some other time perhaps. 
"Okay! I'm good now, for real, so let's go get you an outfit, Pan!" America yelled out, he certainly was excited.
Japan chuckled before letting him inside her..? His..? Whatever, inside the house they went.
America ran over to her wardrobe staring intensely at the clothes Japan had before doing a snap of his fingers and a "Aha!" as he pulled out a pink and white skirt along with a light blue T-shirt that had a white cat on it. 
"This is a casual date, right?" America asked as Japan just shrugged.
"... Well let's just hope it is." America said before leaving the room for her to get dressed.
After she did she called him and he entered back into the room.
"You look great! But.. I feel like something is missing hmm.. oh! Your bell earrings could work and uh that necklace you always wear perhaps?" 
"That could work actually." She pulled out the earrings and the pink necklace with a bell hanging on it and put them on.
"Now that's a look." America smiled at her as she smiled back before looking at the time. Oh.. oH SHIT SHE WAS GONNA BE LATE!
