Elsewhere, Kenna and Amara spend their evening running through Kenna's catalogue of baby names.

However, at first things seem impossible to Kenna, especially with Amara shutting down most of her ideas.

Granted, Amara has a tough opponent in Kenna Dayana Dulce Martinez, what with her inability to let any of them go.

Eventually the pair come to meet each other in the middle, but only after many, many, arguments, including one over why the name Parker doesn't automatically make someone think of a park ranger.

Turns out Amara's ability to make a pun out of almost every name thrown at her helps tremendously to thin out the list a lot faster than Kenna would have been able to do by herself.

"What about Reece?"

Amara spreads out of the sofa, laying her head on the armrest as she continues to search for the absolute worst names in Kenna's digital catalogue. "Reese's pieces."

Kenna rolls her eyes. "Okay yeah, but they're, like, spelt differently...right?"

"Kid's are stupid and mean. Do you think they care about the spelling?"

"Are you sure you're not projecting?" Kenna grumbles, still choosing to delete the pin despite her partial attachment to the name.

Curled up together in casual attire, they continue to separately scroll through Kenna's Pinterest board of one thousands saves made up exclusively of name ideas.

"Micky?"

"Sticky micky you mean?"

Whilst reading out the next name to be thrown on the chopping block, Kenna pulls at the neck of her baby blue, cable knit, tank top, when it feels like the material is scratching at her skin. "What about Carlos?"

"Car-lost his mind."

Kenna scoffs. "You're awful for ruining that name for me."

"You're welcome, also, Malcolm and Cam are out too."

Kenna reaches across the sofa and swipes Amara's phone out of her hand before she can make a grievous mistake. "Oh come on, what's wrong with Cam?

"I love how you're skipping over Malcolm right now." Amara notes.

Kenna ignores the jab, returning the favour with a slap on the arm. "Cameron, or Cam for short, is a cute baby boy name whilst also being unisex, which makes it perfect for my little girl."

"Still not confirmed by the way."

"And like I've said, I'm manifesting."

Amara rolls her eyes. "Besides, I can literally think of ten nicknames that they'll go by for the next eighteen years that they'll either learn to live with or despise. Take it from someone whose nickname was Dramara."

Kenna shrugs her shoulders, not quite seeing the big deal. As far as nicknames go, it isn't the worst thing she's heard tonight, even if the play on words is a bit much.

"And don't think I can't see that look." Amara states, peaking at Kenna in the corner of her eye. "I know exactly what you're thinking and no, its terrible, every time they'd call my name it sounded like I was named after some sort of Diarrhoea."

Kenna blindly reaches for the bowl of tortilla chips laying on the floor next to her, almost dropping the chip on the way up. "Which, they, are we speaking of?"

"My god awful parents." Amara replies, sinking back into the sofa and digging back into the list of names, not wanting to reignite the passionate flame of hatred sitting inside of her.
