"Yeah, we'll take over from now on."

I was halfway surprised. Why? Well, Allegra and Lika showed up. I wasn't that surprised to see Allegra, since she cares about Paola a lot, and was totally ready to destroy that plant. But Lika? She's like a soft cloud, she wouldn't hurt a soul. Unless it's a spider.

Seeing her throwing those flames at the plant did surprise me a lot. Allegra kept on attacking with her briefcase. Swinging it created waves of green energy, and when she opened it, it would spit out several random attacks at once.

Lika had a mixture of lasers and flames. She's more of the type to limit your space to dodge by shooting the lasers, and then bomb you with flames.

Since the flowers in this area were already dead, none of us could've caused huge damage to them any more.

Paola picked up her pan again, getting back into the fight. Even the cat, after a small break, headed straight back into it. Again, considering they all have never fought before, they were doing pretty good. They were still holding back, however.

Probably because none of them wanted to kill that plant. That plant wanted to kill us, though...

From where did it come from anyway? Either way, I picked up my weapon and headed straight back into the fight again. Paola kept on giving us all backup, Lika and Jaku dealt most of the damage with their fire and knives, Allegra and I stayed in the defensive. Once the defences of the plant were destroyed, Lika and Jaku used the opportunity to deliver the final blow.

To be honest, with so many against one, we would've won anyway. We also only destroyed half of the garden. That's impressive, especially since we used fire to destroy that thing.

After that plant was defeated, it turned black, slowly fading away.

It took us all a moment to realise it's over. Once the threat was over, Allegra immediately collapsed onto the ground, trying to catch her breath. At that moment, we all kinda forgot her chronic illness...

It was hard to keep myself on my two legs after that fight. I usually use my fists in battles... And not guns against a killer plant.

We helped Allegra to get back inside, Paola and Lika patched us all up again with their generosity and food. Like that, the day was already over. Allegra was doing better again, way happier than before. Even if she couldn't breathe normally any more, she still enjoyed the fight till the end.

And well, if you don't consider the fact we could've died in that fight, it was pretty fun. The way we all worked together, even with Jaku...

It was pretty enjoyable.

We all gathered in the large living room, talking about that fight for what feels like hours. Probably were hours. Lika and Paola prepared a bunch of snacks, Allegra listened to Jaku completely overdramatising the whole story, and I just sat there. Something I'm used to by now, however, they dragged me into the conversation.

So, I started to tell my part. Sure, with a tad of drama to make it more exciting.

Usually I'm not around that many people, and at first I felt uncomfortable. Later on, we all had our parts to share. The snacks were quickly gone, so Paola and Lika always had to get a new load every 15 minutes or so.

Allegra ate almost all the snacks, Jaku and I maybe had a few the entire time.

For a long time, we continued talking about whatever came into our minds, until deep into the night. Only after Lika and Allegra started to fall asleep, we finally called it a day and headed towards our rooms.

Lika had a different room, I had my own.

My room was huge, way huger than the one I had at home. My old room wasn't that special. I had a window to look out and only see the houses nearby. It wasn't a clear view, not at all.

My room in general was small. I had a simple bed, desk and a wardrobe, that's mostly all that could fit in, and I didn't need more. I spent most of the time on my bed anyway.

The room I stayed in for the night, however, it was huge. The windows were large, granting a breathtaking view on the front yard. The front yard itself had many, many flowers and trees. I think I spent like 20 minutes just staring outside. Further away was the city with its lights lighting up the night. Not too bright, however, you could barely make out the colours.

The sky was a deep dark purple, with the bacon in the sky. I never thought I would say it, but a sky full of bacon is a beautiful sky. There were also ridiculous many chairs again, but at least in a pattern. All the chairs were placed in a specific order, so when you would look from further away, it would look like one huge chair on the ground.

I think I will never understand the obsession with the chairs in here, I never will. It's probably the last thing I'll miss once I leave this world.

But anyway, after having looked out the window for like 20 minutes, I headed into the large royal bed. There were far too many pillows for my comfort, and it felt I was sinking into the bed.

I put the blanket and a few pillows away, and finally called it a day.

Yeah, I sleep without the blanket, all the damn time.
