Tick..tick... tick..
I watched the clock go by, it's Friday why does the clock have to slow down time?!
-an hour later-
Finally the bell rang and I got up as fast as I could. I could care less about anything or anybody right now! I was just thinking about going home! I walked pass people kissing their boyfriends and girlfriends, friends saying bye to each other, and then my locker. WAIT- MY LOCKER! Shoot! I stopped myself and walked back to my locker to grab my books, paintbrushes, sketches, and my skateboard. I couldn't find my skates and I was running late to school today so I couldn't have time to look for them. I walked outside those school doors and tossed my skateboard on the concrete. I put my headphones on and put the cord in my diskman. I started skateboarding off gradually but right before I turned the corner, Charlie stopped me and touched my shoulder. I turned around and was about to yell what. But then I noticed it was Charlie. I smiled and took my headphones off .
"Hey Charlie!" I smiled.
"Hi Y/n!, is it okay if I walk with you" Charlie said and smiled.
"Yeah sure! I'm stopping by the store for some snacks, you wanna come over my house after?" I offered.
"Yeah sure. I have nothing else to do.". He shrugged.
We continued walking together and talked about random thoughts and things. Charlie always had that sparkle in his eyes. But I don't know what it was. Maybe it was just me. After walking At least 3 blocks from Eden hall to the store. I picked up my skateboard and went into the store. Charlie followed right behind me. I grabbed gum and some chips. I turned to Charlie then to the prices on the chips
"Do you want anything?" I said.
"No I'm good..!" Charlie smiled. "Actually I might get a slushy" Charlie walked over to the stand. I followed him with 3 bags of chips and one pack of gum. I grabbed a cup and poured coke in it. The best kind. Charlie is lame and got a different flavor. I mean blueberry is good, it's just to bland for me. We both went to the cash register to see Goldberg there! "Goldberg?! You work here ?!" I said in shock.
" I didn't know you worked here...!" Charlie said and laughed.
Goldberg rolled his eyes " my mom said I needed to get a job.
"Dang .. sorry man.." I snickered ,
