We had just arrived in platform nine and three quarters, and I was looking around for anyone familiar. I saw Hermione and Ron chatting with Pansy, Draco, and Blaise. I smiled, as they spotted me and walked over. "Oh and who is this!!" Hermione squealed looking at the owl, "I named her Jily. Going away present from these pricks." Sirius smacked me, and I just smiled. I gave him a hug, holding him close. He whispered in my ear, "I know you don't want to hear it, but Malfoy looks good." I blushed rolling my eyes. "Shut it Pads." He chuckled, ruffling my hair. "Owl me everyday prongslet."

"You're overdramatic, maybe once a week." He just rolled his eyes, "whatever you say my boy, Draco dear, let your mother know that we would love to do dinner with you all soon." Draco nodded smiling, "she will be thrilled sir." Sirius scrunched up his face, "Remus is sir. I am not. I am anything but a sir." Draco chuckled, "alright Sirius. Hello Professor Lupin. Hello Harry." I blushed, waving at him awkwardly, groaning in my head because I'm sure Sirius saw that.

"Draco please call me Remus I'm no longer your professor." Draco nodded, "bossy bunch you lot are." I chuckled, "I learned it from these two and Mione of course, I'm sure it will clash well with your drama queen attitude." He smiled, shoving me playfully. "Shut it you git." I just smiled at him. Everyone was watching us and I glared at Sirius, who looked way too smug. "Alright well we ought to be leaving shortly, let's go find a compartment." I stated hugging Sirius and Remus once more. "Good luck. Owl me." I mumbled in Remmies ear who just nodded. smiling at me in a thank you.

We loaded our stuff, and found a compartment. All six of us squeezing in. Me and Draco were across from each other at the window seat, Ron and Blaise in the middle seats, and Pansy and Hermione in the outer seats. I laid my head on Ron's shoulder, "I missed you oh so much my dear ginger." He snorted, throwing an arm around my shoulder. "I missed you too, my darling savior." Everyone started laughing at us, including ourselves.

"Are these two always like this?" Pansy asked Mione through laughs, Hermione nodded rolling her eyes. "Yes oh my goodness it's horrid, they're like an old married couple. I'm the third wheel in my own relationship." Draco nodded, "Merlin I feel that except it's these two. Pansy is my best friend but she'd rather snog Blaise then hang out with me." Blaise shrugged, "snogging me is a better option then hanging around you."

"Prat." Draco spat back and I smiled, "I don't know he's pretty fun to hang out with." I said as four heads snapped up with wide eyes. "When did you two hang out?" Mione asked, "yesterday." I shrugged, I didn't see the big deal. Ron smiled, "I'm proud of you mate." I rolled my eyes, "you're proud of me? For hanging out with Malfoy? Like that's something that is worth being proud over?" I was confused but Ron just smiled wider.

"I'm proud of you for finally getting over yourself, you prat." I glared shoving him, "I want a divorce." Ron clasped his hand over his heart, with wide eyes. "My love, you don't mean that do you." I laughed, kissing his forehead. "Of course not darling, I was just upset. Forgive me?" Hermione groaned, "you. Two. Are. Impossible." Draco smiled at me. "You guys are more insufferable than I ever imagined." I shrugged at him, "you'll get used to it. Besides we're rarely this annoying. We went two days without seeing each other, that's a lot. We will be sick of each other soon enough, and Hermione will be satisfied having her boy toy back."

"Do not call him my boy toy Harold, he is my boyfriend!" She blushed, glaring at me. "How many times must I tell you, my name isn't Harold!" She shrugged, "you're Harold when you're an annoying Prat." I looked at her shocked, pouting. "That was mean Mione." She sighed, patting my head. "I love you Harry."

I smiled, "I love you too, I'm emotionally damaged due to your hurtful words though. I will have to be upset with you for at least three to five business minutes." Everyone laughed again, and Draco looked at me. "Who knew you were this dramatic? Me and you hanging out together is going to be a sickly duo." I nodded a wicked grin finding its way to my face, "oh for sure mate."

"As long as you don't take my love." Ron said, earning a glare from Hermione and a laugh from everyone else.

Currently, Ron and Hermione were sleeping cuddled up, as were Blaise and Pansy. Draco startled me putting his feet up on my legs. I quirked an eye brown up at him, giving him an glare.. "and just what do you think you are doing young man?" He chuckled, shrugging, "you'll get used to me eventually, you've chosen to put up with me now." I laughed, sighing.

"Are you nervous?" I asked, he just shrugged. "I've got Harry bloody Potter walking beside me, I have a small feeling that I'll be fine." I rolled my eyes, nodding. "You'll be safe." He smiled softly, "my mother thanks you for that, hero boy." I frowned a bit, "you know you're not a charity case Draco."

"What do you mean?" He asked, confusion evident in his voice. "I mean, this whole saving people thing, I know it's what is expected of me. That's not what I'm doing. You're not a charity case, you're not just the next person I'm going out of my way to save. I am basically saying you're not my next savior case. You've proven to me the last few days that you are not the person I thought you are. None of the slytherins are bad kids, they're just that, kids. It's not just you three under my watch this year, no one will be hurt. It's about damn time we fix this bullshit of a system. The houses are just houses, not life or death. Not everything should be house based. Slytherins can be courageous, gryffindors can be wise, hufflepuffs can have ambition, ravenclaws can be loyal and just. What I'm saying is, I'm not only hanging out with you lot because I want to save you. You're good people, and I want to be your friends. I'm not going to protect slytherin because I feel I have to, or it's my job to be the hero, I'm going to protect slytherin because it's what is right and what they deserve."

He smiled, shaking his head, "I know Harry. If you'd have tried this in sixth year, I would've spewed some shit about your hero complex.. it's not prewar anymore though. You've changed a lot too, you know, the stick is out of your ass. You're relaxed, even if you are still way too good of a person for this world. You'll always have your hero complex, saving people is what you do, but I know that you care about what's right. I still appreciate you for being you though, and I'm sure my mother isn't the only parent going to be thanking you. Half the slytherin kids, parents, weren't even death eaters and I know they're going to get the piss just for their house. That's why I want to give this speech together, together we may be able to inspire change. I mean if we can become friends, anyone can."

I smiled softly nodding, "let's get ready. We are almost there." I woke everyone else up, and we got our robes on. Hermione looked between me and Draco, "are you guys nervous?" I nodded, "a bit, never been one for public speaking. I hate the attention. It's for a good cause though." She agreed, "I'm proud of you both. I may have heard the entire conversation." I laughed at her, "nosy little lamb." She blushed, swatting her hand at me. "Oh please. You adore it." I could only nod in agreement.

After the war we'd all changed. Hermione loosened up a bit and was more fun and carefree, though her studies were still important of course. She just learned to slip jokes and fun into her color coded schedule. Ron wasn't as much of a hot headed prat, he matured a lot, and started looking at things deeper since Fred's passing. Draco was right I had relaxed, who wouldn't without the constant threat of death on their arse.

I smiled hearing the familiar breaks of the train. "You ready?" I asked everyone, the slytherins shrugged. "As ready as we will ever be." Added Blaise, causing the other two to nod. "I'm ready to throw whatever hexes necessary." All of our heads snapped up at Ginny's voice. "Hey gin!" I smiled widely. "So operation kick anyones arse who touches, wrongly looks at, or breathes out of line towards the slytherins is in motion. Besides me, you've got Nev, Luna, Seamus, and Dean. The most boss bitch group you'll ever have on your side Harry." I smiled, "let's go puke house unity all over the damn building and in everyone's faces." Everyone cheered and I chuckled. I looked at Draco, "speech ready?" He nodded. "Let's go do this shit."
