Dahyun's POV

As soon as our class was dismissed by our professor, I immediately went outside and downstairs to the first floor where the student council room is located.

I'm still a bit nervous to face Sana right now, knowing the fact that I'm now carrying a child... our child.

I reached the door of the student councils' room in an instant. With a deep breath, I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer it.

And as expected, I heard the voice I missed the most who muttered a "come in" in the most raspy voice I've heard from her.

Once I've opened the door, I was greeted by the woman who's currently facing down her desk, looking at completely nothing.

She didn't even bother glancing at me. Her mood is so down that I couldn't help but feel guilty because I know for sure that I'm the reason for her long face.

"Sana?" I called out softly.

Sana finally looked at my direction. Her face clearly shows the sign of surprise.

"D-dahyunie..?"

I approached Sana with a smile, but I couldn't help but notice the difference on her facial features right now.

Her eyes were red and puffy which tells me that she had been crying for days now. Her face looking so pale had made me cursed at myself.

Sana stood up from her seat and pulled me in for a warm embrace. I miss her so much...

I hugged Sana back and pulled away after a moment to look at her face. I've also noticed the bags in her eyes even if she tried to hide it with her glasses.

"Have you been crying, Sana?" I asked in concern. Of course she has, stupid.

"I... I am. I just miss you so much, Dahyunie... What happened? What made you avoid and ignore me for the past few days? Did I do something wrong? Speak to me, Dahyun. I don't want us apart like this."

Sana's continuous questions almost made me tear up. I've let her overthink too much when she wasn't even at fault.

I am to be blamed. If only I hadn't been such a coward and approached her with the truth, she wouldn't have been so sad and lonely.

"You didn't do anything wrong, Sana... Listen, I'm so sorry for not responding to your messages as well as avoiding you for the past days. I didn't mean it, really. But I..."

I paused for a moment and thought; should I save the word yet and just say it once she've finally settled down? I feel so bad for her. I want to make it up to her.

"Dahyunie? But what?" Sana confusedly asked in which I shook my head.

"Can we... talk about this in another time? I promise I'll open it up to you. I just want to make it up to you first, 'cause I know you're tired from crying."

"I'm okay, Dahyunie... You can tell me right no-" I planted a gentle kiss on Sana's lips for a few seconds to shush her.

"Not right now, Sana. Let's catch up first. I've missed you." I caressed her cheek to reassure her. She seemed to have finally gotten the signal so she just nodded.

"I've missed you, too, Dahyunie. If that's what you want, then it's okay for me."

"I love you, Sana."

"I love you more, my Dahyun."

We then shared a tender kiss inside the student council room. I could feel the longing through our kiss. I never want to be away from her ever again.
