"Let me help you.." I said with a sigh as I watched him nailing the wood. He ignored me as always, and I huffed at him.

"Please, it would take months if you will work alone." I told him, with a sigh he turned towards him.

"Alright, come here!" He said as he called me, with a wide grin I ran towards him. He shakes his head while hiding his smile at my excitement.

"Hold these," he said as he gave me the nails to hold them for him. I glared at him. This wasn't the work I had in mind for myself.

"Zeon...!" I whined as he picked a nail from my hand and started nailing it in the woods with a hammer.

"Hmm," he said, but his attention was on the logs.

"I can do more than that," I said, looking at the nails in my hands.

"I know!" He said nonchalantly, still not taking me serious.

"Beast...!" I called him angrily. He looked at me, raised him brow.

"Give me that hammer!" I said, and he frowned at me.

"No, I can't risk you hurting yourself." He said as he went back to his work.

"Fine," I said, giving the nails back to him, and walked back to the place where I was sitting before. I could feel his gaze on me, but I didn't look his way as I sulked.

After some time, he gets back to his work with his back towards me. My eyes fell on a saw nearby beside some wooden logs. I have seen Zeon cutting them plenty of time to know what has to be done with them.

With a small smirk, I stood and grabbed the saw. I looked at Zeon, who was working on the walls with his back towards me at a good distance. I started cutting the woods with the saw, and at first, I couldn't do it right. It was taking a lot of force, but after some time, I got hang of it.

I was halfway cutting the logs when I heard Zeon calling my name in fright, and because of sudden noise, I accidently cut my hand. I hissed in pain as blood started dripping from my hand, I cradled my hand to my chest as tears ran down my cheeks.

"What the hell? I told you not to touch it!" Zeon grabbed my hands softly, but his words were laced with anger. He looked frantic as he tried to stop the blood with a spare cloth.

"What's wrong with you, Faith!" He scolded me, and I started crying more. He has never raised his voice with me before, maybe only once.

"I.. I am sorry.." He said as he kissed my forehead and wiped my tears.

"Come on." He said as he helped me up and took me near the water fall. He sat me down near the edge.

"Stay here, I will be right back!" With that, he turned around and walked away. I looked at the cut, which wasn't too deep, but it was hurting badly.

I saw him coming back with the bucket of water and some clean rags. He filled the bucket and dipped the rags in the water. He started to clean the blood off of the cut as I silently watched him. Once the blood was cleaned and stopped, he pulled out a small jar. It was salve of some sort!

He applied the salve on the cut, which had a cooling effect, and the pain subside slowly. He wrapped my hand in a cloth gently.
